Thats not what he meant. Styles said that was the best statement by a mod/admin. Tyro was just pointing out that I AM NOT an admin/mod.

I corrected myself. No harm no foul. I stand behind the beauty of the statement though and how it should be dealt with as a statement standing alone.

 

SuF is definitely right.

And I love how the mods are all teaming up against him to make him look like he is in the wrong because they know they fucked up and they're being called on it now.

 

The reason we reply to these threads is because we actually do care, and want you to enjoy your experiences here. Believe it or not..

But really, the inner mod in me must say that this thread is shifting more and more off-topic. Let's try and keep focused if we want to continue our discussion here.

I could have multi-quoted and made intelligent responses to each and every person, but that would take hours. I'll try to keep this short.

My two cents;

The dealings i've had with staff..

RS2Pleasent - Very professional, polite, honestly trying to help.

Finn- Wierd (slight negative touch) , however I don't know enough to say he doesn't try to improve the community, so DO NOT take that as a bash of any sort.

I agree with the suggestion to make the UL discussion a bit more public, or bring more of the staff down to the members suggestion thread. I've rarely seen a corrupt staff member or an unprofessional one.

For all of you saying that the OP is "dragging on the drama he hates so much" I totally disagree with you and I actually find that disrespectful. First amendment rights? C'mon now. He has an opinion and he wants to voice it. He's actually more or less fighting for YOUR rights, so way to discourage him at the least. I support him. He's an ex-moderator and if his story checks out he lost his title in a noble manner in the least.

PS, as skills said I don't wish to get involved.

Edit: I don't agree with the OPs title, I do see the abstract of what you're saying. It's just that constant flaming will not get us anywhere, it doesn't matter what we perceived it as. Keeping things polite and in the public would do Sythe as a community a whole lot better, however that choice is left up to the admins/mods who enforce these rules.

 

I have seen references to the Supreme court by mods.

 

While a tad off-topic i'm curious to see that, considering the BoR shouldn't apply to a globally available database such as the interwebz.

 

Just popping in here: it was probably as an analogy. Sythe.org doesn't adhere to court decisions unless they're specifically targetting something that Sythe is involved in -- for example, we don't allow marijuana sales here because it's illegal, etc. The site is, ultimately, the private property of Sythe.

I don't remember word for word what was said nor can I find the quote now because it was on Rawr's dispute posted by R33l. He was saying something about corruption and he used the supreme court decision to back up his response.

Since this last posts have been Off-Topic. I thought I'd say something to try and correct It.

Despite being here just over a month, I Can openly say I've soaked in so much of Discussion, Drama, Feuds, Arrogances, The list continues..

The destruction of sythe, if not ended now, will be Drama.. Bitter rivalry's between banned members and Staff of sythe are causing a rift between the community and the Staff, and is made even wider with threads like this, Destructive Black-and-white Retort's filling the minds of people thinking that the staff are simply trying to censor the whole forum and emulsify anything they don't like.

You'll deny it, But you can see many posts here that are affected as such, By members who have been banned, who make it seem that this who place is corrupt, that its unjust, Highly popular banned members play you like puppets on a string, working your mind, to post a hateful, destructive comments that don't even help the problem your trying to solve.

 

SuF, you should know that stuff is discussed in the SL and never mentioned anywhere else on the site. The reasons for decisions made by the staff are rarely expressed to the general members, but that doesn't mean there aren't any reasons.

On another note, Darthatron was a cool mod.

That's the way its been and always will be. I liked it how 1 person said SuF was causing drama himself, he responded to that and then the trolls just kept coming back with accusations of creating drama.

You know who was an even better mod? That Darkgroove guy. He was an awesome mod.
