I think I'm fully addicted to weed?

Weed isn't an addictive substance, there are no physical withdraws from it.

I think you need to make some friends and learn how to actually enjoy life. Weed is suppose to be a social thing to enhance the joy of activities. Your abusing a great thing and just getting stoned and sitting around wishing you could get higher.

Truth is your mind will only allow you to get as high as you believe you can get. The rest of the wasted weed you smoke just makes you tired and lazy.

Before you smoke again. Find something fun and social to do before you take the first hit.

and realize if you get high and don't do anything. It's a fucking waste cause you'll just continue to be bored.

Seriously though there is no such thing as addiction to weed.

Your mind is just too weak to believe you can enjoy yourself while sober.

Now yes marijuana can be mentally addictive, but so can anything. If you want it all the time, and think you need it. You are mentally addicted.

However Physical addiction is the only thing that really counts as something that can force you into addiction.

If we were to say marijuana is addictive then you might as well say M&m's are addictive.

Your right it isn't addictive..anyone who is "addicted to it" is subconsciously convincing themselves they are..it's not a physical dependence..but it is hard on your lungs man..but fuck if your gonna smoke might as well smoke weed I guess?

I, as well, quit cold turkey when I decided I wanted to join the military. Stopped on March 29th 2008, and never even touched it again. I had thoughts, and desires, later to start back up, but not because of addiction, merely because I liked the feelings I got, and had a good time when I was high.

Nonetheless, give yourself a reason to quit, don't just try and quit. It doesn't work that way. If you have a goal, work towards that goal, don't let yourself down and fail.

The human brain is a strong lethal weapon to weed. Smoking weed strikes hormones to make you feel better, making the weed "addicting".
Talk about it with someone you trust that will help you quit. Start Detoxicating now! it will be hard and you will feel anxiety attacks at certain moments but after two weeks of detoxicating, try doing it by urself.

I've been a mega stoner for the past 2 years ish, but have been very functional and manged it very well. However, problems;

While smoking:
- Flem in morning, nasty
- Things become boring without the ganj
- I would see something beautiful, or be having a great time sober somewhere, then just start thinking, imagine if I had some bud...always a downer haha.
- When you smoke alone (which I do very often, and is something I love) you will on occasion get those suck ass paranoid highs which are easy to get out of but annoying as fuck. Mine normally came with a kind of internal dialogue type of thing that would take a train of thought down a bad stream.

When stopping:
I actually just stopped a week or so ago for the beginning of the school year, as they have been threatening to drug test. The only withdrawal symptoms I seem to get are lack of an appetite, and a more difficult time falling asleep. This was after smoking long term, and for the last 2 weeks probably about three times a day.

I bought a vaporizer off ebay for 50$ that gets me and my friends more fucked up than anything, and its supposed to be fine on your lungs, which is awesome.

I don't know many kids that can do what I do though. I would blaze the morning of midterms and get 90's and the night before SAT's and got a 1290.
I am never burnt out the next day, but get burnt out as fuck from the afterbuzz sometimes.

THC isn't chemically adictive, so once you solve your weak willpower you'll be on the right track.

I suggest starting with something simple by stopping eating a certain type of food and going from there.

Or if it's a real issue you could essentially scare yourself into stopping. The problem being extremely excess levels of THC will just put you to sleep.

The last and probably best idea for you is to make friends who don't smoke weed, and who will most likely ridicule you for it.

Cut yourself off from your weed contacts: make better friends, never buy drugs, and you access to them will decrease. Now you need some willpower as deacon said. Find a reason,and use it. Good luck.
