This game is going relatively cheap at the moment with the expansion and guide.

Is the £18/month worth it. Are there ways around it like in rs with pins etc..

Gameplay/Graphics: Are they a bit outdated now or still very good. Gameplay is it easy to pick up and play staright a way.

Updates: Does it have regular updates of new content and additions?

Is there a Wow 4 coming anytime soon??

Finally are there any hacks/cheats for it...and i'm assuming there are Private Servers.

How does it compare against rs..

And side point: Has any one played starcraft 2 ..Is it any good?/?

 

Firstly it is only around £9 a month and aa new expansion called cataclysm is coming out which will change WoW completely. You can buy game keys such as membership keys off people on Sythe and personally I think it is better than RuneScape. Before you buy it you can try it for free for 10 days at trywarcraft.com.

 

Yeah its worth it. I think the graphics are decent but they are 234324 times better than Runescape. The gameplay is kind of overwhelming at first but once you level your character to 80 you should have a good grasp on things. And yeah it has regular updates. They are coming out with a huge expansion real soon. Not really sure what you mean by wow4. and Yeah there are some bots for it. Wouldn't really use them.

 

I cannot in good conscience advise anyone to start playing WoW tbh.

 

It's worth it but difficult to compare to RS.

When I played I felt like I had to be really dedicated to get my moneys worth :/

Graphics arent the 'Best' but its still really good. Alot of the in-game locations look really beautiful.
Gameplay can be easy or hard depending on how you look at it.
You dont want to try to Macro or Keybind as its hard to pick up.

Its 9£ a Month, You can Recruit a friend and get a free month of Wow.

World of Warcraft patches or updates things every Wedsnday.
Theres over 4000 Quests to do and tons of things.

There will never be a 'World of Warcraft 4'
We go by Expansions. The next one coming out soon is Cataclysm which changes the entire World in World of Warcraft.

Yes theres Hacks & Cheats for it. Its not recommended to hack on 'Retail' than it is on a Private server as Wow has good Anti-Hack protection.

Theres also bots that are slighty undetected.

How does it compare against rs..
Runescape is just a Small Game compared to World of Warcraft. Some people will Choose Runescape over Wow as there use to Runescape.

I have Starcraft 2 and i find it fun. Theres tons of Custom Games like in Warcraft 3 so theres loads of things to do.

I think it's only 9/month, from what others are saying. The only other way to pay for membership is with time cards, and those (from what I've seen) are barely (if at all) cheaper than just paying on their site. It's worth it, but I've never actually kept a subscription with them. Once you hit 80 there may be a month or two where you'll want to take a break between patches.

The graphics aren't the highlight of the game. They're cartoon-ish and somewhat primitive. They're going to be updated in the upcoming expansion, but not by a huge margin. The gameplay is great. It's even better if you read the quest texts and look up some of the backstory every now and then.

Yes and no. Blizzard can take forever to release new content, but they're always working on something.

Cataclysm is coming out in the not-so-distant future. If you mean Warcraft IV, then I don't believe so. It'd be cool if they did, but I don't think they're working on it.

Yes. There are a handful of good bots out there, and I've seen people with speed and fly hacks. Most other hacks have been patched. There was at one point a hack where you could instantly kill anything, but as you can imagine it was snuffed out very quickly.

They're two very different games. Runescape is more focused on earning money and advancing through separate skills whereas WoW is focused on leveling and getting gear. Money doesn't matter nearly as much in WoW.

Haven't played it, but I watch X-Play and they gave it a 5/5. I also recently saw some pretty neat mods for it, so I'd imagine it will keep you occupied for as long (if not longer) than Warcraft 3 did (assuming you played it).

its a huge difference from runescape, it doesnt have the #1 graphics but you can tell that a ton of detail is put into every aspect of the game.

Patches come out ever so often. They are not as often as runescape updated, but they are much larger and drastic.

There are tons and tons of private servers, there are bots all around, you just have to look for the right ones. Im not a person to reccomend them because i dont bot/play privates

It is extremely different than rs, the entire gameplay is different and skill is a lot more crucial. with the creation of dg'ing in runescape, shows that they are trying to implement some of the factors of wow but are failing miserably. Runescape will never have the hardcore 25m raiding like wow. Runescape may hold the record for #1 free mmorpg, but that is because it is free, you have to pay for the good shit, wow would win if it was free, hands down

Have yet to play it. i have a friend who does and apparently the online is terrible, im not much into RTS's, tbh

 

Wow I didnt expect such great responses.I posted this because game are sell that battle chest with the 2 games and 2 guides for £10 atm. Might try out the free trial

 

I just want to add that you'll never run out of stuff to do, but you will get easily overwhelmed as accomplishing everything you want is very damn difficult.

New content isn't really important, as there's always something to do, whether it's achievement grinding, gearing, leveling, raiding, battlegrounds... honestly, you won't find yourself bored, you'll just find yourself not finding anything really fun to do .

When Cataclysm comes out, Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms are getting a major makeover, and graphics are being updated to the new generation. From what I've seen, it looks pretty sexy. However, you won't be able to catch up before Cat comes out, unless you play everyday until its release, and even then you'll still be behind >.>.

Not that i know of as you can not currently pay with phone or sms.
Gameplay/Graphics: Graphic's is in a style that is not outdated and I doubt will ever as it is in realistic/cartoony loooks very nice and smooth though.

Updates: New content and updates are very regular for Mmo games.

Better graphics, gameplay, features, updates though the downside is the cost of it and the huge download.
