Trust Ranks

My suggestion is to add buyable ranks like "Trusted" and "Highly Trusted". These will be "bought" by sending a bond to Matthew around $100-$200. If a user which has a trust rank scams, the bond would be kept for site mantainace or whatever the staff chooses.

I think that adding these ranks would give security to a buyer if the seller has a "trust rank".

I would also add that "trust ranks" can be sold back to Matthew and the cash would be given back to the buyer whenever he chooses to.

Easily one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard ;/ This is basically like buying a staff rank.

If it were something along the lines of 'X' amount worth of trades completed with vouches, or something of that sort, leading a a 'trusted rank', then I may be able to understand.

 

Awful idea. Someone will buy a trust rank, then scam a half wine essentially making a $800 profit.

 

Then its simply called a "donator". Nuffsaid.

There has already been a "bond." Suggestion. This didn't go through and this is nearly the exact same thing.

And as Skele said, Trust can't be bought. Look at Fatih, donates 300$ then bam.

Longer you stay here, the more you'll know who you can truly trust IMO.
Ex: I'd trust Spyike with anything I own and he's one of the few people I fully trust.

On a more serious note, doesn't tis fall under requesting ranks on the DNS list?

 

Like every one else said. Trust can't be bought. Really if you wanted to get something like this then just donate 100 or 200$. then its just like the same thing

 

This is the same exact thing as being a donator!

I'm sure more people would trust Spyike then someone who bought a $5,000 trust bond.

 

In this case, a trust rank means nothing besides the fact that your desperately trying to get a trust rank to possibly scam people out hundreds. I don't support this idea =( sorry, good try though.

 

how would this be any different than donating. If someone donates 100$, I don't expect them to scam me for a pin as technically their sythe account cost them 100$

I like the general concept of your idea, but like everyone has said, it would be too easy to give $100, then scam $1000. Again, I like the whole, "being held accountable" type of idea.

 

You are not donating for trust, ur donating for a site / nuffsaid.

 

What a ridiculous idea, user just donates $100 to get the trust rank then scams a $200 trade.

No support, IMO should be locked.
