    A few months back I got a message saying I received a RWT Minor warning. I just looked at my messages and account status and I have no messages and account status says no offenses. How sketchy would it be to buy more gold? Would it be less sketch to use an alt account to buy and transfer?

    Yes absolutely use a mule to buy gold if you want to be as safe as possible. It takes almost no extra effort to do and is way safer.
