Reading ... do you actually do it?

I do not read often, whilst at home. But i read allot in my English class, as most of the people in it are imbeciles that cant read, so i have to read Romeo and Juliet aloud, being most of the male parts, lol.

 

Hardly read and very picky, but when I do read I stick to certain authors.

 

i hate the people that try and act superior for reading books, despite the fact that i often do.

 

I only read when I have to, aka summer reading list, classroom reading book, writing a report on it, doing a project that requires a book, etc, etc. Unless it's like general knowledgeable stuff that would help in my future and stuff that interests me, those things, I would read.

 

I go through spurts, where I will read 2-4 books in a period of 2 weeks, and then I will go for a month without touching one.

When a book I have to read for school starts to interest me, I usually read alot of it as often as I can.

Other than that, HELL NO!

 

I have never enjoyed reading. I regret that I never got into reading when I was younger.

 

I myself dont like to read, i wont have any problem if i have to for a report, as im a fast reader, but it bores me very easily.

 

That's how I used to be.
You just need to find an author you like.

I'm a really picky reader, but when I find a good book, I love it.

 

I only read something which is going to become a movie then it makes it more intresting

 

I used to read 3-4 books a month until I became a teenager. Since then things have changed a lot. Technology has been the main impact. Nowadays I go to bed with my iPod touch then a good book. I also don't feel I have the time to read them, juggling School, work and sport commitments as well as family and friends can be a real hassle.

So around... 1-2 books every 2 months.

 

Once in awhile I will come across a good book and finish it. But some I can't really get into and end up not reading it. Don't read much over summer.

 

I get B+ A'S in school but tbh fuck reading its so boring, unless its like a unreal beast book. =-)

 

I cannot read books at all. I never read for school or anything, I can read small things though like news articles etc..

Yes, I read alot tbh, I'm currently reading a good book about woodstock. If anybody's looking for a book to read i'd highly recommend Into The Wild, amazing book and movie, watched the movie like 500 times.

 

Any Fyodor Dostoevsky fans? I havn't read all of his books, but I'd love to discuss certain parts of The Brothers Karmazov or The Idiot with anyone who's read them.

 

I believe that I am a good reader but to be honest I hate doing it. Whenever I had to read a book for school I would read barely any of it and it would show in my grade. If I find a book that I enjoy then I will finish it within a week or less but so far there have been only 2 teachers that have ever handed me a book I liked.

 

I read on the internet. The only time I read books is when a class assignment makes me.

 

Yep, I read once in a while. I used to read a lot more before though.
