Tinychat

Run by a banned member.. Tinychat has NO affiliation with Sythe. It's for talking to each other.. It's like IRC with Cams.

 

I vote for just let them both co-exist one will die out within a few weeks anyways.

Doubt it, this has happened before. When Syed/Daily trolled (Daily hacking TC.) People moved to Gearheart. Gearheart + sytheofficial had mixed audiences. Many people come, but stay for a week tops. These are just randoms who came to TC for no apparent reason. There are still around 10-20 of us that continually talk to each other in Sytheofficial/Skype/Gearheart.

Odds are, one will be crowded. People will go to that one.. At other times of the day, one will be empty; therefore, they go to the other one.

I'd be willing to bet sytheofficial isn't going to die out. Not in this incident anyway.

 

If Sytheofficial didn't have a pass lock on constantly the place would be a lot more fun and there would be a lot more conversation.
When you lock out everyone non-sythe related we have 10 people in the room tops.

REMOVE THE PASSCODE.

 

Most OPs in the IRC are banned, should that not be allowed either?

This whole thread is veering off the fact that TC is an off-site congregation of sythe members and in no way affiliates with Sythe (Other than the name of the TC including Sythe).

 

Blame the staff for starting this. This battle has been fought before, and Sytheofficial won.

 

You realize the pass codes are insanely easy and posted usually. It's to stop the mass randoms joining.

 

TC links in sigs are what ruined TC. TC was spread around and it's no-where near as fun as it was.

Why would we ban the tc links? All of this started because we're no longer allowed to advertise sytheofficial for no reason. AKA tell people in the spamforum to go there..

 

The TC isn't publicly stickied or announced and nor did we intend to have a worthless fight about two chatrooms.

 

It doesn't matter if they are banned.. It has NO relation to Sythe...

I agree you should be allowed to advertise sytheofficial, just like before. That's the only change needed, in my opinion.

 

Gamutech is run by a banned Sythe member, a member who we believe is hacking Sythe members MSN's and it has a Porn/18+ section...does this mean it can't be advertised in peoples signatures? I do understand a warning to Sythe members about the SytheOfficial tinychat, however attempting to scare members away from it by giving out infractions for speaking about it is taking it too far.

 

This is beyond pathetic. What is wrong with the current TC?

There's a password on SOMETIMES because if the password isn't up we get mass-attacked by randoms. If we aren't getting attacked, the password is off. Like now. If the password is on, its something simple like "rofl" and is posted in the comments anyway.

ALL staff and users are welcome, THIS is where it all started, why are you trying to make a new tinychat and split up everyone?

You're supposed to be leaders of this community, not causing people to pick sides over some rubbish problem you may have had with the previous owner.
