Depends about their background. If they are vouched by someone us or known by someone else whom else is deemed trusted.

    Trust a Leecher?

being a "leacher" myself i feel that i am more vulnerable than veterans to the forum because they know more things/tricks and think they could scam me easier.

Well you never really can tell unless you actually get to talk to the person on msn. Alot of people are new, and they have to start somewhere, (like me), but ive done a few trades with people. Age can apply, but doesnt always.

They can be legit, but they have nothing backing them up to prove it.
That's why most people don't trust them.

I'm one myself. I'm trustworthy, it's just i have to prove myself. In the long run, it would be more beneficial not to trust them.

people act as if it's racism or something "oh noes you discriminate agenst post count!!!"

look. join date, post count, vouches, all are important in determining if this random stranger you're about to trade with is legit. he's from 2007? he's managed to go 3 years without being banned, must be good. 1200 post count? he either is a spammer, or cares about the community, would he trade that for a couple mill? vouches, the only ones that should count are serious trades, not bullshit like training some guy up to 15 mining for free. sadly all one would have to do is bot 5 people up to 15 mining for free, the people would say "vouch for ____ trained very quickly" and there you go, 5 seemingly useful vouches.

no matter what, people can either be legit, or scam. there's nothing at all you can do to 100% ensure your safety, because even OMMs can scam, at any point. it's just a matter of what makes you most comfortable.

    tl;dr:
post count matters, but not nearly as much as join date or vouches, and both of those sometimes won't matter.

    Trust a Leecher?

I know i am a leecher at the moment. But if i were to buy something from an other leecher. I would make them prove to me that there legit. And if they are i would probably trust them.

^your sig is fail to be honest.

I'm also a leecher, and if people don't trust me, that's their problem.
when I trade I will always use an OMM.
However, if no one avaible, I will go first.

And everybody can scamm, even the people who are highly trusted can easly scam.

    You're all honestly idiotic.

I'd say about 40-60% of Leechers that you see on this site come for single use or minimal use, those being legit trades. And of course.. omg you have no vouches or post count. Well let me tell you this; I guarentee you i could go and make a leecher account and get 50-100 vouches w/o going over 25 posts.

Quit being jackasses about the situation and man up to the fact that you're all being assholes over a fact that has yet to be proven fully. Post don't mean SHIT.

It's all depends on a person, trusted people get banned same as leachers, nothing new.

Every one can scam. Leachers will do it more often though because they have nothing to lose.

Wrong, the average thought of an ignorant person. Someone coming to this site, w/o any backround knowledge is going to say... well holy shit i just joined i think im going to scam? no. Ban Evaders, possibly. Like i said before, people who are coming to actually sell something will come as a leecher and most likely leave as a leecher.

    Trust a Leecher?

I wish more people would trust leechers but I also understand why they sometimes don't. It is much harder to find someone to trade when you are a leecher, as well. I recently traded with an apprentice and got scammed by going first. You can just never know..

    Trust a Leecher?

    Nope. :p

I think often times scammers that are banned make new accounts that obviously start out as leechers. Many people are worried that new sythe members are scammers. Leechers often do not have many vouches from others either.

I know when a leecher is legit, some genuinly want to start a business. Just look through their post, the legitimacy of their vouches, and read report a scammer section.
