MEELE OR RANGE PURE? help!

Hey, im a crossroads on my new pure, and i have no idea which way to go.

i havea range pure, with decent stats..

50 attack
80 str
1 def
84 range
83 mage
1 pray
750 zeal..which can get me either 94 range or 93 str.

ive not got much experience with a range pure, and genrely dont find it as fun to pk with as scim/dds, ive tried pking but struggle to time specs or i just dont know enough about range pures, had a bit with meele and like it.

only thing is making money and questing would be harder with meele and only 31 pray. were as range with 44 would be easier (dont know if i would get 44 or not so early)

ive done fuck all quests, but will begin doing MM,lost city,ancients is my prio and questing to 31 pray.

any advice would be great!

 

Do what you thinks funner/more enjoyable.
Personally I would chose to get exp for Range as it's cheaper/easier to train strength but do what you will have the most fun with.

 

yeh will meele is the easier of them to train and i personaly feel i'd enjoy it more, its a pking account

for 99 range 44 pray 90 hp i'd be 76 cb + 60 attack 99 str ill be 79 cb
for 60 attack 99 str 31 pray 90 hp ill be 78 combat. + 99 range wont affect cbs

will probly end up going meele, easier to train..and 60/99/1 + 85 hp 31 pray only leaves me 75 cb, pro wildy

I don't think range pures are so fun, but it's all up to you which is the most fun.

 

Range owns with ancients, then get 99strength and use dclaws and ancients and range

 

Range pures are good, using dark bow and g maul combo is gg.

 

yeh but higher end of the cb ladder, it aint so i personally feel a maxed meele pure would beet a max range, and i find meele a bit more fun and easier to manage?

 

I say range for all the combos you can do with it.

 

ranged owns i think if ur not that good with pking etc.

 

man despite what your saying, i seem to be leaning towards meele, i think blitz dds is just great fun. i can always level up range to about 90 some time later after 95+ str

 

Melee pure - blitz dds combo = epic beastiality

 

Get both 99 range and strength..

 

I find that range pure is only good for combat lvls under 80 with -40 defence, after that, you are going to have to turn into a tank to have fun pk and actually kill people. So I say just go with the melee pure, and get 99 range as well .

 

In my opinion range complements strength,always go with higher strength then range on a g mauler unless your going to max them out.

ok heres the plan,

for now go meele pure - 60 attack 95 str 31 pray. eventually, when i max out my strength i will get 90+ range after that. i think that way i can have fun pking with blitz/dds and eventually get range up to combine em im already at 84

 

Range- 94 Range will not hit much higher then 84 Range.

Melee- 93 Strength will hit much harder then 84 Strength.

 

Get 93 str..
