Similar to that on facebook, it would be neat for Sythe to have it's own "Like" system. These would be not kept tallied on a profile, therefore it cannot be used as points for "Trust". It is just a simple feature for replies and posts that are cool and deserve a like. These likes should not be connected with facebook, it is for Sythe only. Although this suggestion is not necessary, it is unique and would be pretty neat for the community.
However it is not a reputation or thanks system... I said that these will not be kept count of on their profile, so it doesn't add up to any trust amount or anything. It is just a simple feature if something says some funny, intelligent, or whatever you can click 'Like' and under the post it will say something such as "Hahanerd45 likes this post"
It's a good suggestion for a forum of maybe computer issues, but not for Sythe. I see what you're talking about though, but I still wouldn't see a point in it.
For one, you most likely got this idea from Facebook. It is entirely pointless and contributes nothing to the site as a whole. I don't think it is worth taking the time to create.
I got this idea because I saw a reply that was noteworthy. Just because facebook relates to it doesn't mean I got the idea from there. Also, the spam forum is entirely pointless but it is there. Why? For interest, humor, and fun. The like feature should be there. Why? For gratitude to the intelligent or humorous replies in threads.
I must have misread. In any case, it's one of those things that would be nice, but is just an excess feature that will most likely be manipulated in some sort of manner.
