You have a 2002 PC. Its really slow, you can't format or download anything on it.. 15mB left. You are 100k xp from 99 strength and you need to play runescape badly! What program would you use so your computer doesnt keep on freezing because you are training!

You cant use

- Runescape Downloable Client
- RSBOT

Uhh.

First of go task manager and exit ANY un neccassary things that may be running in programs, check the cpu everytmie you delete/remove each program.
Run RS in safest mod, lowest graphic, run in chrome 1tab as I think it takes less mbs.

try it.

 

I'd use Google Chrome, it's a lot better then the other browsers. If I don't have Google Chrome yet, and I truly can't download anything, I'd just make sure I shut down every program in the tray before playing, as well as checking that I had the latest version of Java. Obviously I'd put RS on safe mode as well.

 

Open task bar. Use prossecor VERY HIGH on java.
And u wud be fine.

 

Truth is, there's nothing much you can do with a low RAM, bad Graphix card and bad proccesor. I have a 2004 home PC and it lags in crowded areas, I make sure minimal CPU is used through task manager, disable all programs not in use, put Antivirus on silent mode, I also use GameBooster, it helps a little, but you said you can't download, so what use do I have in suggesting that.

Or just clean your hardrive out with system restore.

You need to clean up your computer just a bit, My windows computer from 2000 could run rs.

Lets start here.

Get the free trial, sometimes if your hard drive it way to full your computer will lag.

So download/install that program and you have an option to see where all of your memory is. Delete some of those items to clear up some hard drive space.

If you have fraps go to C:/programfiles/fraps or something like that and clear out those videos.

So anyway once you have tuneup utilities you can enable turbo mode which will lower all settings in your computer for gaming mode.

De-Frag your computer. open the task bar, and do clean up your disk space, run it and it'l delete your cookies and stuff. makes more room on your C: Drive.

 

try deleting some stuff you dont use? also download ccleaner as that will whipe your temporary files and uhm play with rs client its better than anything else.. rsbots.net bot client is pretty fast too
