Guthans Vs Veracs?

Currently, I am trying to decide between two barrows armour sets: Guthans and Veracs. I purchased a Guthans set a week ago and was satisfied ^_^
But, there were downfalls...The healing special is not always reliable and also, you cannot train strength which is a BIG downer on my part =|
I was thinking of selling my Guthans and trying out Veracs but i wasn't sure if it was a good idea...What do you guys think? :huh:

 

Guthan's is kick awesome for Slayer/Def training at Bandits. Verac's is good for risking it in pvp. Is this going to be your only armour?

 

what exactly are you buying them for? guthans is good for afk training but veracs is good for other stuff like pking and stuff like that. If you are looking just to train i think you should just buy some regular armour and go to the spiders at the stronghold.

 

Go with DH Thats what I say if your looking for strength .. Unless wait .. thats expensive kinda if you cant afford that .. go with Veracs.

 

What I use to do was bring guthans set and bring regular training armor and take out the guthans when needed to heal. This use to work really well be cause the healing special would work pretty often.

Verac is really good but I wouldn't recommend it for training. It's a lot better for boss killing.

 

i just need to know, what would be better all around..for doing anything, not just training or bosses or whatever

 

For doing a little bit of everything on a low budget? A whip with torags plate and legs works fine. Add a torso for training

Also if you are doing kq, which is rare now even after tt update, verac's owns.

I Prefer Guthans, but its only because i piss people off when i heal in PvP, But mostly i get owned.

 

Buy both like me and dont forget dharok too.

 

It all depends on what your planning on using it for.

Guthans has more use to me personally on my old main but really depends.

 

Guthans for sure its good overall u can slay with it go bosses with it everything except pking

 

veracs is ownage in pvp to hit trough prot, else u should buy guthan for training.

 

Guthans > Verac for ---> Training
Verac > Guthan for ---> Bosses, pking

But why choose one of them ??
There is plenty of better gear for all round use..
If your low budget just get
Neitz. Whip. Rune Def. Torso. Torag Legs. Dboots.
Doesn't cost much just takes a bit of time to get but decent bonuses

 

verac ftw, hit thorght prayer but guthan heal, thats good in dm

 

Yeah i like Gimme a Secs idea, plus those items don't degrade, so you wont have to worry about fixing them if you have to sell them, or have them breaking on you when you die. UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT BARROWS, Its quite useless, for a normal player.

 

yeah i also kind of liked guthans too, for training that is

 

veracs is only decent forpking, nothing else.. unless you want prayer bonus
