    They do matter. My account was made in the USA, therefore only USA micrsoft points can work on it. Trust me, I know.

    You have to use a 1600 pt card for USA accounts only. It doesn't matter where you get them as long as it's 1600 msp.

    2100 MSP aren't a USA code.
