auth trades allways get banned eventually - but the value of them is actually fair - i would pay 1$ for puro puro thats lasts for a week instead $20

I agree with some points, rs accaunts can be hacked back within hours back too. So i say, it all depends what you buy from, so auths could be allowed, howether so many leacher-scammers would try to make profit from it.

    I disagree with this 100%.

You cant possibly guarantee auths to not be reissued/charged back or banned. And if you were a buyer of an auth, you would not get full satisfactory that the auth you bought was yours, it could be shared.

The buyers would know if the sellers put a disclaimer, i could see them being sold for $3-4 each, seeing as they are only banned/reset to the email if it is being used under "signed" in multiple locations.

Gold prices are directly related to how to receive the gold. Only current methods are held by high-profit people/websites. There is no trading 100mil for a rune platebody anymore. I for one used to sell gold on www.accountmarket.com til late 2008, and since then demand has become HIGHER, not lowered. Supply is lowered because of the little effort people put in to discovering method of transit for the gold, and other circumstances. Now flamers leave, seeing as your statements are easily proven wrong.

I think Authorization code sales should be aloud, but only by Guru's+ Trusted people should have the right to sell Auth codes. On Hackforums.net Auth codes are the only thing aloud to be sold, i've bought 2 from there, and neither are banned.

lol. i think we could make it semi safe, it would have to involve the old rsbots.nt email recovery thing... like if you sell one, you have to include the email thats corrosponding with the purchase and the person has to be able to get the "new code" ....

    Selling Auth-codes

This is how I see it, I bought the auto soulwars bot, rc bot, wc bot, mining bot, and the tanner bot.

I dont ever bot anymore so I wasted over 100+ bucks on codes I dont use anymore.

Some guy did suggest auth code renting.

I would definalty rent out my codes and if the codes got banned you can easily get them unbanned.

Rsbots.net has a place where you can say where your moving to. So you can give them that ip of the new user so the auth would not be banned.

So you can tell them this, "I'm going to my aunts house in XXXXXX so my ip will change to there when I get back hope i'll let you know the info!!"

After that you are good to go. And if the person continued to use the auth code you could email this "When I was at my aunts house in xxxxxx I forgot to delete my auth codes from that computer and my cousin plays runescape and must be using them!!! Is there a way I can get them changed?"

So in terms you could easily rent out a bot for a week for like 7 bucks and be done with it.

I support auth renting and if you have any questions on how this could not work let me know.

(And to test out and make sure the auths are legit a middleman would team view the computer and get the auth code from the user renting it to give to the new person)

And the renter would also have to show proof he emailed rsbots and also they replied back.

    So..yea

I would support the sale of Auth Codes, if and only IF the person could prove that THEY were the ORIGINAL OWNER of the Auth code, then they would be allowed to sell it.

I don't see why auth code selling is banned here? It should be allowed and should be upto the buyer to trust the seller or not.

    Selling Auth-codes

There is a fine line between cheating on a game, and cheating another cheating site.

If we start cheating cheating sites, they start disliking sythe. If they dislike sythe, that's not good, not good for much at all.

When it comes down to it it's Sythes choice whether he wants to be friends with that site or enemies.

Generally it's better to have more friends, so you can easily see Sythes choice here.

    Thus my point of:
I would support the sale of Auth Codes, if and only IF the person could prove that THEY were the ORIGINAL OWNER of the Auth code, then they would be allowed to sell it.
Meaning if the Auth was recovered, the seller would be banned provided the buyer screened the conversation.

    Selling Auth-codes

the only argument which seems to come up is "they can get re-issued and scammed"

Any runescape account can e recovered by the origional owner at any time.
This whole site is based on trust, which should be expanded to auths

As already stated, auth sales are unpredictable. Even if you legitimately bought an auth and only sold it to one person, that person could go on and sell it to 20 other people and then file a report against you for selling him a disabled auth. In the end, you, along with the other 20 people who bought it, would be in a loss.

    Selling Auth-codes

What if every auth sale had to go through a database every time it was sold. So if someone said I'm selling an auth code

It would have to go through the database to make sure its never been sold before. SO every auth sale would have to be controlled by an auth manager.

If they didn't go through an auth manager it would not count against the person who sold it.

    ie:

Person A wants to sell the auth code XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Person B Wants to buy the said auth code. He chooses to buy the auth code without the auth manager. He gets scammed.

    another example

Person A wants to sell the auth code XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Person B wants to buy the said auth code. He chooses to buy the code with the auth manager.

Auth manager then searchs through the DB of the auth codes and realizes that the said auth code appears there showing he is not the original owner but (this email is)
Auth manager contacts Person A about the situation and tells him "you are not the original owner of the auth so you cannot sell this auth"

Person B thanks auth manager with a blumpkin (that last statement was for the lulz) but really Person B how now not been scammed so he searches elsewhere for an auth.

They'll just resell the auth on a different site or to people who don't know about the manager. Besides, having everyone who through a manager(s) is unrealistic.

I think it could prevent auth code scamming. Some people buy the autoers and get tired of them :/ like me.
