I'm thinking of joining the reserves. I don't really know what to look forward to aside from what's on tv and the obvious lies the recruiters told me.

So what should i truly be looking forward to in this program?

If you aren't in any armed forces or don't know anyone who is involved don't respond please, looking for serious answers.

You should look forward to valuable training, a chance to mature much faster if you are still a teenager, a chance to make a decent amount of money if you are still a teenager through active duty pay in your Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training. When you finish AIT you will get part of your bonus ($20,000 for me). You will get about $680 a month while you are in school taking 12 credit hours or higher. You will get up to $4,000 a year in tuition coverage. You will get a chance to meet great people and serve your country. You will get in top physical shape during training and should motivate yourself to keep it. Girls will love you, guys will respect you.

Those are a few things off the top of my head. I am currently up in Dahlonega, about an hour north of you. If you have any questions, please MSN me.

My Brother joined the British Army as a gunner and came back a changed man, he was quiet shy before he left but when he came back his character had come on leaps and bounds, not all changes were for the good though, hes been discharged now and spends most days getting stoned trying to forget things that went on.

Go into the air force, and do a computer job, or a job you won't get deployed.
