Really thinking about buying an account. Please help

Hi I recently startled playing runescape again after quitting probably 3 years ago or so. The reason I quit was because my account was hacked and was not willing to gain the money and items I had lost. Now that I play again I want to buy a nice account. It seems really shady though as the person selling can easily recover and I will lose my irl money.

How can I buy one and make sure they cannot recover? Will I be fine if I make sure they have vouches, no recovery, no email, and I change the username?


I would appreciate if my question was answered as well as all tips/advice

if they still know the log in username they can still get in i think since they made the account its on their ip which jagex regonizes and will give them the benefit of the doubt over u so u pretty much need recov answers like first pass and membership details and all that but thats my guess

 

usually if its that persons original account and they have all the info on the account they could recover it. theres always a risk with rwt of losing rl cash..

 

you should start off by using an omm, never trade with someone you dont deem trustworthy, have the mm do a recovery test also, get all details and you should be alright.

 

Yea if u get all details its pretty much urs with ur recovs and email but have OMM do recov tests and stuff

So I'm thinking of buying a high level main in the near future with 99 magic and range. Is there a guide to buying accounts which I can follow to make sure I wont get scammed?

 

yea do a recov test and stuff with a omm then u would probaly be fine

 

Use trusted middleman and try to do recovering testing, if it's get accepted, you might use that info to recover account in future if gets stolen, etc.

What the recovery test? Anyone care to explain in detail?

 

Recovery test is where the person gives you all info on the account and you or MM/OMM use all the details to recover the account.

Everytime I have tried the accounts get locked.

 

in all honesty, your best bet is to create an account yourself, and either have someone train it, or bot it yourself. but if you bot it yourself, make sure to do it carefully, to reduce the chance of being banned
