Found something valuable.. Do I return it?

Im a religious Person... So the way i see it is, If you found it its because god wanted you to find it. If he didnt want you to have it he wouldnt have made you do w/e it was u did when u saw it. So keep it. You most likely deserved it

 

It was someone elses who misplaced it...and you think he deserves it...

 

If you want to do the right thing, return it(that is if you find who the owner is). If you can't find out who the owner is maybe take it into the haircut place and ask if anyone reported it missing. If you don't have a guilty conscious then I guess you just got a free Ipod Touch.

If it was hot, and had no battery, it had obviously been there for awhile.

If you dont mind it being on your conscious keep it. I myself wouldn't exactly care.

Sell it on craigslist or something. Dont be so worried, if he just left it there long enough for the battery to die on STANDBYE, he obviously doesnt care that much.

 

Rofl...the guy lost it....Do you have a mind of your own? ....he wouldnt leave a 200$+ i pod on the ground...anyways, are you going to email the person who lost his pod.

 

You could

a) Improve our society by going out of your way to find the ipod's rightful owner.
b) Contribute to the downfall of our society by keeping the ipod.

If you dropped your ipod on the ground wouldn't you want someone to return it?

 

You ought to atleast try to find the owner. Post some info in the local newspaper and make them explain the item to you so you dont get fucked. after like 1.5-2 weeks keep it

 

I'm not spending money (especially 25 cents per letter) to find the owner.

 

In a case like this where there is no way to be sure that the actual owner gets it back, I kinda feel like it's finders keepers. Of course if someone puts forth an inquiry about it, you would be obliged to return it. So don't get too attached just yet.

1.) Keep the bitch. Its not your fault someone dropped it n left it there. chances r you would never even see the person. Sit back n enjoy the couple hundred bucks you just made. I once found a Blackberry pearl in the middle of the street. Traded that bitch for a Half Ounce of some dank soon as i got it.

2.) Its a fucking Ipod. its not like someones world ended over it. you people act like its a lost child or something.

 

Charge it, see if you can find a signature on any of the songs etc in iTunes. If it's passcode locked you'll need to restore it and there'll be no way to sign out the owner through these means.

If I were you I would try the above and if the owner put a passcode on it just keep it. Happy birthday present to yourself.

 

If you know who it belongs to, return it. If you don't, keep it. Be reasonable lol. Do you expect to go running around town seeing if someone lost an iTouch?

 

Sell it and donate the money to sythe.

 

Hand it in to the police, if nobody claims it you'll be given it.

 

Its up to you its your call You might feel bad after though? Id hand it in to the police and here in the uk if its unclaimed for a certain period you get to keep it anyways .

 

This is the case in England, I was going to suggest it but I didn't know if it was the same in other countries.

 

If you don't want to lose money by printing out fliers put a note at the bottom of each flier saying "must pay me back from the ink/paper i paid for to do this"
