Poster details on the left side

I'd like to see poster details moved to the left side rather than ontop of posts.

 

Why? its perfectly fine as it is.

Plus it'd mean re-rendering all the User Ranks, User Imaged Names, Layout, Theme.

Please provide an argument to how it'd be better on the side.

 

It's just more of a personal preference.

 

Maybe add a custom skin with the postcount on the left side?

Eh, I like it how it is. I don't really see a point in changing it, but I like James' suggestion on the extra skin to have it on the side. (If it wouldn't be hard to do.)

Its a good idea, I've seen it like that on many forums so why not sythe?

It would be nice to have it on the side as an additional theme, just so if people wish to have it like that, there is always the option.

What are you talking about? Re-rendering? Nothing needs to get "re-rendered".

 

I meant Resized. For example.. Skele_Master's User Image wouldn't fit in a sidebar would it?
And big log names would also be changed, the size of the font would be changed..

they're all not problems, now that i think of it.

But mainly minor annoyances when everything already is layed out perfectly.

 

The div would just stretch to accommodate the image size. Or they can modify the script to change the image size if its dimensions are larger then a predefined set.

You can change the size of an image with html, you don't have to re-render as you called it.

 

Why not. It makes scrolling down a thread easier and allows more posts per page.

 

Doesn't affect posts per page.

You can change how many posts per page you see in your options.
