Usertitle Rant

Lately, I've seen a lot of usertitles center around the basis that they are the best something. One good example is Rsaccounttraders "#1 Pin Seller" when he really isn't. Why disallow people to have something that says "Highly Trusted" when "#1 Pin Seller" can be just as misleading? It's unfair, untrue and should be against the rules.

My suggestion:
Ban all usertitles that indicate they are the best, cheapest, swiftest, etc something on this site. However, they can have something like R2Pleasant, The Gp King, which doesn't place any added trust to somebody.

 

I see what you mean, I myself, when i was new here, presumed he was the actual #1 Pin Seller.

I agree with your synopsis, but don't really think its that big of a deal to actually not allow it.

 

Theoretically, a leecher can join, donate $50, and then get that usertitle without ever selling a pin. Unnecessary trust is unnecessary.

True, but then thats simply the persons own fault for trusting the UT of a leecher who just joined.

True, but honestly if a user doesnt have the wits to read through the forum rules and etiquette before doing his trades, then he is liable for his incompetence...

 

No....UT's are a donating perk and nothing more. You can put whatever you want there....claim to be the #1 whatever you want....

Anyways what if the #1 pin seller had that UT and later wasn't the #1 pin seller anymore? You gonna strip him of his title?

 

I do not under stand how you think that some ones UT gives them any trust.Stating that your the #1 anything dose not make you trusted by any means.

Trusting a UT is as crazy as trusting a donator status.

Ya, User Titles are all over-exaggerations anyway, including the stock ones. Take Feds for example, his user title is Guru, but that kid is straight retarded.

 

If a leecher donates $50 to the site, he will not scam pins. Pin scammers are always banned under $10, so that would be a fail on his part.

But if someone has a UT: "Most Trusted&Best Account Shop on Sythe!", scams $2K with a fake lv138... It's pretty unfair actually.

 

Thats not the user titles fault, thats the buyers fault.

Point being everybody wants to blame the user title instead of what they should really be blaming.

 

Everybody wants to blame the user title because it's extremely misleading to new members as to who is who, who to trust, and who not to trust. As in, a donor with a TWC and a UT: "Trust me!" Some people might think the donor status and his UT would be worth more than the TWC brings him down. He scams a leecher. It's for the people who don't know, it's still extremely misleading.
