Verify Transfer Guides and PAY!

You really are a ignorant person.. From your posts I HAVE to assume you simply don't understand the concept.. Do you not see the point any of us have made through our posts? The TRUSTED verifiers that were picked by staff? Preventing scamming from tricking new members into non-existent Xfer methods?

 

I 100% understand it "might" lower scamming attempts. But a seller should have the choice to give their $5000 guide to someone for free. Picked or not picked by staff.

 

They do not have to give a verifier a guide.. They can simply not sell the guide on the thread. Hell, sell it on Msn. It makes perfect sense, and it's not our fault your mind can't grasp it.

 

I mind grasps it perfectly fine. I understand the logic behind making it so people don't sell crap guides.

But what you still haven't answered is:

Why can't they have the choice of getting it verified or not?

Actually in order to post their sale on this site of 5m + /hr they need to get it verified. How can they sell it on msn if they can't make a thread?

(Yes they can go to another site duh)

 

In order to prevent scamming, and you can sell things just via Msn/sig.

Many of you will spot this as being the oldest guide scam in the book.
ex. "IM NOT GOING TO GET IT VERIFIED BECAUSE THEN ONE MORE PERSON WOULD KNOW, BUT I WANT YOU GUISE TO TRUST ME AND SEND 100$ PAYPAL NAO PLZ".



If you can't give away a single free copy of a potential high priced item to guarantee its validity then the majority of sythe members will think you're trying to scam.

 

Never thought of that. I didn't know you could post stuff like that in your sig. Now I think it's fair. See I thought there was no way for a player to advertise a great guide without giving one guide away for free. If that person can advertise in their sig. Then that's fair.

Yup agreed. Anyone who isn't willing to get it verified is most likely scamming. My main point was that person should still be able to advertise and give away copies to trusted people who want to buy the guide. Like If I sell a unverified guide to hahanerd and he comes back and likes the guide. I basically didn't get it verified but people will know its legit.

If I am selling something and don't want it "leaked for free" I would go first to trusted people who will pay after they know the guide works. <--That was what I was trying to get at.

^Then you're arguing for a specific case that honestly I would find hard to ever occur because:

1.For something of very high value (hypothetically) a very trusted member would have to be involved in verification (mod+/admin).
2.They have the power and resposibility that comes with verficiation of your guide. So they're not desperate or even inclined to buy. YOU'RE desperate to get it verified therefore free charge makes alot more sense than them paying for it.

The chance of you finding a mod+/admin to verify your exact guide for which they are INTERESTED IN purchasing is slim to none. Sure you may find highly trusted normal members but they don't have to power to 'VERIFY' anything. They can only vouch for you.

Yea the chances are slim, and your probably right. If someone did have something really good to sell they would make a ton of money and wouldn't mind giving one away for free. Never thought of it like that. Thanks

 

Yeah I checked your previous threads . I was hoping to find something like 'SELLING 100M/hr transfer method' so I could hop all over you lol. I understand where you're coming from, and in the right circumstances (highly improbable) it would make sense to have the verifier pay for it since the hypothetical item would be worth ALOT of irl money.

It's hard to understand what your trying to say because of the bad wording =/. What I think your trying to say is that staff should pay for the guide, and yes I support this.

Staff should verify a guide and pay the person unless a verification was requested by the person selling the guide.
Staff should not be able to get guides for free, some guides cost $4, which is a price of a pin. Staff members don't get pins for free.

 

Why the hell shouldn't they get the guide for free? I mean, they deserve something. Being a verifier isn't an easy job as you may think, but..

If you had a $100 guide and wanted it verified... Make the verifier pay for it? What's the point in that? It's to bring you more business, not to get you an instant profit off your guide. You're lucky we even have verifiers. It's just a forum, don't make them do more than they should. They're people too.

 

You are completely missing what I was trying to say. I 100% agree the person selling a guide should want it verified to get more sales and of course the certified verifiers shouldn't have to pay for it.

What I was saying and if you read my last post before this: Is that the seller should have the choice of whether or not to get it verified, and not be forced.

You cannot honestly expect us to believe that you/other sythe staff' have not used any RWT methods that they have verified. If you do think this way, then maybe you need to tell US what you've "been smokin man".

And besides that point, most of the guides that do not work or are illegal are simple enough to make a judgment on; via guides that ask to buy a certain item from the GE and sell to the xferer.

 

I just got around to reading this thread, and this suggestion is absolutely ridiculous. You expect us to verify your guide in order for you to increase your sales, yet you still want us to pay for it? We're made official guide verifier for a reason, and that's to eliminate scams, the reselling of leaked/patched guides, and to determine which guides are legit and what not.

We're honestly doing the guide seller a favor by increasing their profits and sales, and yet, if they give one guide for us official guide verifiers to review and verify, we still have to pay for it?
