I got a question

Has anyone had there 360 keep saying open tray even though there's a game in it and it won't register? I was wondering if there was any way to fix it. im thinking its just my disc drive but idk, has anyone had this happen to them?

 

If theres a game in there and not registering, try cleaning the disk unless it's scratched.

 

What I do is, Take out the cd, and make sure there isn't a cd, then through ur control close the tray, open it, and close it back, then put the cd, hoped it helped

 

I've had this happen to me before. Power Off then Power On usually fixes it.

my friends xbox does that and he just keeps clicking a so it opens and closes then the disk goes in itll try to read it, then itll fail then he'll keep doing it till it works kind of ghetto lol

 

rofl yeah the first time it happened to me i did that now it doesnt try to read it at all

 

just gotta keep trying lmao. one friend it takes like an hour

 

The laser in your xbox that reads the discs most likely died out or is super weak, happened to me cost like 50$ to repair

 

That's what happened to one of my old 360s. Kept getting weaker and weaker until it hit 3 red rings a short while later.
