Verify Transfer Guides and PAY!

Since everyone is mis-reading my post here is it tl;dr

I am asking why can't a member who is selling something go first to trusted people who want to buy the guide?

For example if I am selling a 50m /hr guide and Finn posts on my thread saying he is interested, and wants to buy it. Of course I am going to go first. So I send him the guide, and he is amazed at how well it works. He pays me. He then posts on my thread saying " Guide works". Pretty sure I will get a lot of sales.

Another example to maybe make people see what I am saying:

Since 5m / hr transfer guides are the only things that have to get verified: Why not get "trusted" verifies who want to verify these guides to use for themselves, and be a customer.
Basically to sum up my question:

If I am selling a 500m / hr transfer that takes 10 seconds to do. And I am selling it for $100 per person. I would want to sell it to someone who is like a mod or a lot of vouches etc. The key word is sell. Is it not my right to be able to sell my guide and not give it away for free? Yes, clearly if I don't get it verified no one will buy. But still.

 

The trusted members are getting the guide for free because they are using their time to see if the guide is legit and able to be moved to the verified section.

If verifiers got nothing out of it I am sure that no one would want to do it.

 

They are doing it for the guide. So 10 minutes for a $20 guide?

I am saying the seller should get to choose whether or not to get it verified.

I would verify a guide and pay for it if I was more trusted like an OMM or something.

 

No, they waste their time trying to verify the fake guides and 1/10 guides are legit and most are in the "Do not sell" sticky. Also it's worth your guide getting verified or no one will ever buy it. Only if you went first and you would probably get scammed most of the time...

 

You're expecting me to verify the guide, and pay so the user can sell his guide? I'm not going to waste my money on some transferring guide, or whatever if I'm not even going to use it. I verify guides so others can sell and I sure as hell am not about to go pay so I can verify their guide. That's the most asinine thing I've heard all week.

Also, what is up with the quotations around the word trusted? Are you trying to imply something?

And yea I put trusted in quotes because there is no way to know if the verifiers are leaking the info they get.

Yes, see you said no one will buy it if it's not verified. So if I was selling a guide of course I would get it verified. But if I found a 500m / hr transfer I wouldn't want to get it verified I would sell and only sell.

 

We have a set of official verifiers for a reason. We make sure these people do not leak the guide(s) that they verify. If an official verifier is caught leaking the guide(s) he/she will be taken off from the list and will be punished.

People are allowed to sell guides without them being verified as long as it's not on the list of guides not to sell, or if it's a RWT method that is 5M/Hr+. We have the 5M/hr+ rule as people tend to over exaggerate the amount of money that you can actually transfer and that half of them are on the list of guides not to sell.

You'd probably have to sell it off of Sythe then as we would not allow you to sell it without it being verified. Not only that, I doubt anyone would go first or even believe that you stumbled upon a method like that.

 

What a tool. You do realize that we verify guides for nothing in return, 8/10 guides that we attempt to verify ending up not working or being an illegal guide, we waste our time and resources verifying your guide so that you can sell it, and you want us to pay for it? Tell me what you been smokin man, cause its some pretty good stuff.

 

Ok fair enough. Still think someone should have the choice of getting a 5m/hr + verified or not. It should be the buyer's intelligence to make sure the guide being sold to them isn't on the "do-not sell list"

Yea everyone keeps saying they get like 10000 guides that are illegal or don't work. How about you change the rules to

"You have the choice of getting it verified by an official member and put into the verified section to increase your sales"

 

You cannot honestly say that, so keep your faulty assumptions about my integrity to yourself.

You do not have to get your guide verified to sell, with the exception being xfer guides over 10m. Why? Most don't work and are simply new members like yourself attempting to scam for a few quick bucks.

 

Ust to back up the mods, most of the guides they verify require members and nobody gives it for free. So they pay for membership themself, and then vertify the guide and since it requires 2 people they would be paying more then if they were to buy from jagex

 

I wish it was, but half of them don't look and the other half is trying to sell leaked guides.

 

Xfer guides is what I am talking about. Most don't work? Or the good guides aren't leaked so you assume they don't work. Again if a new member is selling a guide and doesn't want to get it verified everyone should assume they are a scammer. But:

If I found a 10m/hr and was selling it I would go first to people to verify my guide is legit, but I would do that because they are still going to pay.

/Iphone I am pretty sure the verifies don't just buy membership to test a method. They would be a verifier because they play rs and have membership already.

 

Lol, paying to make sure a guide is verified. We verify guides for safety of other users. When you buy a verified guide, you know it'll work unless it was recently patched. As well, the chance of being scammed drops a load.

As for the above comment about having to have guides verified, this is also to prevent scamming. 5Mil/h + guides much more people want. 1m/h.. who cares? You can make that easy.. They are supposed to be verified for safety of the customers.

Another comment about verifiers using the guides.. Why not? As long as we don't leak the guides it isn't a problem.
Besides that, you have no idea how much time we waste attempting to verify guides. Many of the guides people attempt to get verified are one of the following: already being sold, is widely leaked, or it's patched.

 

I am not saying like Tmoe verify a awesome guide for a game that you don't play and then pay the guy because it works.

Finn's an admin and all mods/admins can verify guides..
So that doesn't make sense.. It would be verified.

 

..It would be verified by someone who actually wants to buy the guide though.

/Ok then like TMOE I see you as trustworthy. Let's say there was no official verifies. And you bought my guide after I went first to you. You would post on my thread vouching the guide works. So yea, the guide will be "verified", and I got my first sale.

Also there has been times where one of these verifies, verify a guide or xfer and end up being crap guides. I bet if a trusted person really wanted the guide and the seller went first to the trusted person and then got paid, the trusted person wouldn't pay for a guide that was crap.

 

Lol.. This is just someone buying a guide and saying it works. It would not be verified, it could be his/her friend, his/her cousin, even him/her.
He got the guide, it works; all is fine. It's up to other people whether they want to believe such persons' vouch.
There are verifiers for a reason, because they are TRUSTED. It use to be mods only, but Sythe Staff trusted a SELECT few to verify guides and confirm they work.
