Do People Still Get Banned For...

Multiple IPs on an account? Like, let's say you're getting a lot of services done by various people on an account in a short amount of time.

What is the likelihood of being banned.

 

If someone goes on from like China and make you 5M gold you're more likely to get banned. I think if three i.ps on the account in a short amount of time will lock your account - talking from experience.

 

This may be wrong, but i dont believe they ban you. I believe they lock the account because they are under suspicion that its been stolen or traded. And supposibly only someone with the first recovery questions on said account can unlock it.

Buts its never happened to me, so im not sure.

 

There are two things that will probably happen.
1.) Your account will be locked and will remain unlocked until you appeal it.
2.) You get an offence added on your account (Account selling/Sharing) that can lead to a ban.

 

I have had problems while selling a account recently.I live in the united states and the person who bought it lives in Holland.He did a recovery test and 5 minutes latter the account was locked.So either jagex locked it because of the ip change or because of the recovery test.

 

I think you're account just gets locked, not banned.

 

Accounts usually get locked when you try to recover them.

 

But it got locked 5 minutes later jagex like never dose appeals that quickly but yeah not sure.Also have had appeals denied because of the persons ip/location.
