I don't think post count matters as much as Join Date.

The Value of A High Post Count

I think post count should not be what people use to determine if someone can be trusted or not. However, in alot of cases someone who has been with Sythe.org for a year and has 500+ post count seems to be easier to trust.

However, a leecher can be trusted just as much. There is some people who go around spamming and making utterly USELESS posts just to get high post count so they can feel trusted. Once they have aquired the wanted amount of posts, they go around scamming. This is what the Sythe community needs to open their eyes up to... That post count doesn't always mean that you need to trust them.

I have heard of a Grandmaster using fake vouches. 2k+ posts and he was banned. Finn was apparently framed with some photoshopped pictures, but nobody really knows what happened.

So it goes to show, not even being on sythe for 5 years, being a Mod or Admin, being an OMM, REALLY deep down affects a person.

Post value > post count. It's just used to increase your e-peen.

Postcount and reliability aren't connected in any way, but I think people will still trust a Grand Master with 5 vouches more than a Member with 25. Postcount only represents how active a member is and encourages them to activeness.

The last part is not that true, look at me,and yes i was pretty active over the years yet not a high postcount.I'd rather trade a 3 years old member with 100 posts over a 3-4 months guru.

If you have a high postcount of useful posts (not spam like "cool" "lol" or whatever), they have dedicated that much time into sythe and would probably not risk losing their sythe account for a few dollars.

The only thing i deduced so far was
    Vouches>Join Date> Post count
Join date and post count don't prove shit, or very little compared to Vouches.

WRONG, you can have 1 post and be the most legit person to come to the site.
You can't determine who the person behind that other screen is.

Everyone looks solely at post count and at nothing else. I like for my vouches to do my talking, not something that I can spend 8 hours on and get 2400 posts.

Well, here on Sythe, your integrity is measured in Posts, Join date, and Vouches.

    So they do matter.

Just as our integrity in real life is represented by our Reputation, Financial status, and reliability, etc.

Post count usually corresponds with how long a user has been on Sythe. That's why members tend to trust other members with higher post counts. Other than that, post count means nothing.
