Initiate pure?

Hey guys,

So I recently just looked back on some of my old accounts and I forgot all about my old pure that had 3 def . . . :/

Just now, I was thinking possibly resuming and just making it an Initiate pure (though I hate def) Its not wrecked.

Stats are currently;

50 att
77 str
3 def
88 range
52 pray
81 mage
77 hp.

I'm just looking for you guys' suggestions on what I should do next? Obviously I plan to raise my strength and mage to 99 and 94 so please don't state the obvious.

My biggest question would have to be, Should I remain a Range/mauler, or go on to Range/60 att. or even 70 or 75? As I mentioned before I hate defense, so consider me new to initiate pures.

What should I do guys? Please help !

60 attack 80+ str 20 def 90/99 range, 82/94 mage, prayer is good as it is. Let hp be whatever it wants.

 

If you're turning into an initiate pure, then you'll definitely want to get 60/75 Attack, try 60 first though.
I'd definitely suggest getting 90+ Range, but it depends how you like to pk, also make sure you do Nature Spirit so you can get rune gloves.

 

Instead of an initiate pure, I suggest a 13 defense pure. The levels come from Rune Gloves in RFD, these pures aren't very common and perform well.

I suggest Initiate pure, well i like em, but the decision is you'rs for the taken.

 

5 def, 10 def, 13 def, 20 def, there all good. 20 offers a better prayer and defense bonus AND rune gloves, so thats the obvious choice.

But if you are willing to be out of place, go 13. The rune gloves and black armour really does help, and you will be very good for your level with 80+ strength.

When you guys were talking about 13 def, it did seem unusual to me. lol feeling out of place though, I wouldn't mind. But how do guys feel about a mauler over a 60 att or 75? Could you guys elaborate more on this please!

 

I'm also forced to make an initiate pure, and as people stated make sure you do nature spirit for rune rfd gloves!

 

Remember that 20 def pures are not just initiates pures. If your bank account is setting right, you can use corrupted pking armor. I've seen 20 def pures in corrupted armor merk zerkers.

 

Yeah, it sucks but we'll make something out of it bro!

I only have one last request, to ask you guys now about your opinions on the att levels, if you can please elaborate more on this it would help me a lot. Tbh I'm not sure if I want to get get 60 only b/c its a little overrated for me, I may consider 75-80 a little later but 50 is what stuck in my head atm. Please help!

The 13 Defense is from natures spirit Reward.

I'm not sure on what your trying to say with the "mauler over a..."

 

Oh i've just read on.
I reccommend 60 Attack for the time being, otherwise see how you fair with 50.
In the future though, consider 60+.

I havn't seen it done before and it's a pretty good idea to keep combat level down.

dont get 70+ atk ~ init gets pmg ownedzzored at 85+ cb. head for open waters.

Range to maul! BAM BAM BAM!

if your getting 13 then you might aswell get 20 for mystic/mithril/initiate etc..

I'd say go Initiate if your up for all the quests.
