Xbox360 vs PS3

I've decided to switch from my 3 PS3's (20gb, 80gb, & 160gb Uncharted package). So what do I need? The games I'm getting first are COD4, MW2, BFBC2, and MX vs ATV Reflex. I'm not sure which ones to get. I'm thinking an Elite and a slim right now. Can someone explain to me all I need to know about an Xbox. Oh yeah I'll be playing on a 32" & 62" LCD tv's. One in my room one in my closet.

 

Xbox 360 is awesome I recommend you get Gears of War 1+2 as they are a must for the xbox 360. And yeah, I've had a look at the new slim, and it looks really good, nice size, colour and of course now has WIFI. I have a 360 elite and I didn't fork out all the money for the internet adapter so I bridged connections between my laptop and it's soooo annoying!! But glad to see in the slim they put WIFI. The controllers require either batteries or you can get the rechargeable battery packs like me and a charging tower, which is handy. You can link the 360 to your computer and play music on your computer via the xbox which is handy. Gameplay and Multiplayer uptime is supposed to be better on the 360 server wise. Overall I think you're making a wise move.

I would recommend you stuck with a PS3, but, eh, everyone's opinion is there own. I just don't approve of people saying one console is better than the other one without any logic behind it.
Well, if you're definitely buying an Xbox 360, get the new Slim. It has almost matched the PS3, which means it should be the best console Microsoft has made so far. This one has built in Wi-fi, and has bigger vents on the side.
As far as games, you should get MW2 or BFBC2, Definitely Gears of War 1+2, Maybe Halo if you like 7 year olds yelling about your mom, but I'm really not too sure about the good games for Xbox.

i had this same debate with myself. i thought for ps3 free wireless and live. so i went with ps3. after 2 months i took it back because none of my friends had one. i got an xbox instead and haven't regretted it. if you do get it get it from wally world and get the 2 year insurance thing. incase your xbox breaks

Dont get an Elite, Mine has many problems such as Random Red Ring's of death, and very bad pixelation. I got this after it was all supposedly fixed also. Haven't heard anything negative on the new 360 but im 100% positive faulty things will be found soon.

 

In my opinion, I prefer the Xbox 360. Excellent online community and the exclusives are awesome, Halo 3 is an example.

And yes, I tried the Playstation 3 and... meh, don't liked.

 

Alright what i'm about to say may leave you thinking i hate ps3 but no i don't i respect ps3, but i stick with 360 for a reason.

Did you know...
...that the average IQ and age of a Xbox player is half of an average PS3 player. Why? Xbox is cheap(er) and therefor parents buy it for those little kids who yell through the mic every single time they got killed. Ps3 has less children playing and is more played by people that use their brain.
Why do you think MW2 is so popular on the Xbox? Its just randomly shooting and running around like a dumb kid, they just like it...

If you look for TRUE gamers go play on the PC.
Whos parents is going to buy a real gaming computer for their kids? well not much. So in the PC community their are real gamers, not in the Xbox community.

Now you will probably come back with another fanboy argument, so I am going to say.
Xbox is good for Xbox live and nothing else.
Xbox is weaker than PS3. just ... face .... it.....

 

I like PS3 games. Uncharted and Uncharted 2 are the best PS3 games! also God of war and Little big planet/ Oh and metal gear solid 4 is my favorite PS3 game of all time better than Uncharted 1 and 2!!!!!

 

xbox 360 has better gameplay by far, especially with halo. nothing beats halo.

xbox 360 > ps3

plus ps3 is far overrated and overpriced.

i have a 360 and a ps3. I like ps3 much better.

I would also recommend Gears like others have said but if you are looking for an excellent single player game, check out Bioshock.
