Selling 1W high powered blue laser

I have here a 1 watt 445nm blue laser. This is a custom build put together by me. It's capable of lighting a cigar, light a candle, catch paper on fire, etc.

WARNING: THIS LASER CAN FUCKING BLIND YOU IF YOU ARE TOO RETARDED TO HANDLE IT PROPERLY!!!
I WILL NOT be responsible for anything stupid you do with it (blind yourself or others, point it at planes, etc.)

[Note: In this video the beam is enhanced with smoke. It's a little less bright than this, but still very fuckin bright]


The laser itself is less than 5 inches long. Very portable.

Is this legal in the US? I dont believe so.

 

It is legal to own and use on your own property. Use in public isn't entirely "legal" but it's also not a well known or enforced law.
Worst case scenario it will be confiscated. Unless you're being REALLY retarded and pointing it at planes, then you're going to prison.

 

Can this pop a balloon or light a piece of paper? And how long in prison > : )?

 

It's a federal crime so probably 5-15 years if not more
Not to mention a fine in the tens of thousands of dollars.

Balloons are nothing to this laser.
You can pop a ballon with under 50mW (milliwatts)
This is 1W (1000mW) It'll easily burn anything.
I've lit cigarettes and caught pencils on fire with it
Have even burnt myself and got a nasty blister (which it can do instanly).
