You dont need any specific amount of money to Merchant, i'd say above 50M+ would be good though while 1M would start making you very little money.

I'm just kind pissed cause I spent $15 to have 10% of my wealth invested in the merch item and have not yet recieved the rune darts. So far its looking like a scam.
