Is My Account Safe?

Ok so my friend quit rs and gave me his acc and I want to make sure it's mine befor I put hard work into it so heres what I did

Changed The e mail to mine.
Changed The Recovs twice. - (did theese three things in about 2 months)
Changed the pass 3 times.

Since when you go to recover account it asks what your email is on the acc befor it lets you recov does this make it mine? since he doesnt know my email.

Since you say he doesnt know your email? Are your Recovs Basic knowledge answers that anyone can guess or Only things you would know

 

Only things I would know and I mixed numbers in there and I have them written down

 

You still run the risk of getting your account taken back, there is always one simple way to get any original account back, and it usually works. Be cautious.

 

well you have to have the registered email to get to the next step of recovering it so he could do it, i dont think

 

Listen, if the account was his originally, then all he pretty much has to do is this, provide a few passwords, and in the paragraph at the end write, "Check IP address."

 

ok but to get to that point he has to enter the registered email, which is mine.

 

Uhhh registered email is only part of it, it can still be taken back.

safe from other users probably but the original user will have more , older information, earlier passes, ip, membership codes potentially this will enable said person able to recover the account and there's nothing you can do about it really

 

If you didnt make an account you always run the risk of getting it recovered, but if you know the dude real good irl then you should be fine.

 

Unfortunately only having an email on your account will not make it yours. If the original owner can supply information (previous passwords, recoveries) that are closer to the origin of the account (the date it was created) your account will most likely get recovered by the owner.
