Eye "Powers"

Before I start, I would like to make it clear that I'm not trying to brag or show off AT ALL. I just want to see if someone has experienced this in someone else and what they felt like.

Here is basically what happens:

When someone looks at me and I look at them, without even doing anything, they double glance every time or they feel awkward in a sense that there's something suspicious about me. I don't do anything on purpose, it happens on everyone and I can get them to look at me if I need to. My point is that even from a further distance, if I look at them calmly without doing anything, days and days after, they still look at me...?

I've spoken with my sister and she has that same "power."

I pretty much like it that I can do this, but, I've always wondered what the person is thinking on the other side.

I'm sure many of you know people or are just like me who can do this, I was wondering if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong or what is happening.

EDIT: This doesn't happen on people I know, such as friends, family members, etc.

This is just curiosity.

 

That just seems like human nature to me. They might think that you are interested in them or sum mat

It's not a look that they are interested, well, it is, but, it also has a different look in it.

 

I'm sorry, but I could not fully understand you. Are you saying that you can look at someone, and make them look back at you? Or are you saying that everytime you catch someone looking at you the double glance back at you? Please clarify for me.

 

I'm saying both plus more. I mean, if someone isn't looking at me, I can have them look at me, and when they do, after like a few second stare, they continuously look days after. And sometimes have that suspicious type of a face.

 

Oh ok I see what you are saying now. I don't know if its just me that does this, but alot of the time I will get a feeling that someone is looking at me, and I will turn around and find a person looking at me. Back on the subject though, Maybe these people just happen to look back at you on coincidence. Another possibility is that the people that look back at you might think you are good looking/like you so that they continue to stare. I'm not doubting your "powers" just saying that there might be other reasons for them to do this. Hope I helped.

 

I get that a lot. A girl looked at me and I looked at her. I never saw her in my life before and now I always look for her and always see her

 

FishFishy, it's not a coincidence. That's the difficult part to understand, this is one of the reasons why I NEVER tell anyone about this other than my sister because I thought since we're both from the same family, she might have the same "powers" as me and she does.

It's not on coincidence, like...I tried it on this guy and he was looking at me suspiciously, then a few weeks went by...and I become his neighbor and he still looks at me after a few months, and he seriously thinks I'm like..after him or something.

I work in retail and occasionally at a cash register. From the experiences I've had, people generally are not comfortable looking a stranger in the eye. It could be because of self consciousness or nervousness. The feeling of discomfort or awkwardness that is typically felt when being stared at is totally normal and would be a reasonable explanation for why people look away when you stare at them. I'm sure there is a better explanation but I'm not a doctor.

No, I'm attractive, however, they have a "I like you" expression mixed in with a suspicious expression, and I'm pretty sure a guy wouldn't fucking stare at me for 3 months unless he's gay and wants to anally rape me, which he doesn't...hopefully.

 

It also happens to my teachers.

 

It sounds like you creep people out. Maybe if your going to stare people down make it less noticeable.
