I don't get how all these people are saying "once a scammer, always a scammer" yet I keep hearing that Finn has scammed before yet he is still a member of this site? I smell hypocrisy.

    Giving scammers a second chance.

i used to scam on random sites and private servers, but if a website like this official with vouches and everything (so you know you wont just be scammed too). If you scam here youll scam anywhere. end of story.

    Giving scammers a second chance.

im sure 50% of people on this thread are SCAMMERS saying "Once a scammer always a scammer" or something.

If a person Scams something...like a Pin.. maybe after a few months if they can proove they've matured a little, they should be let in on Probation for a month or two or something? Because sometimes its not the persons fault they scammed. (Just an Example) - A person buys an account from a user , and it gets recovered, but that person also bought the account so they didnt intend on scamming. The first buyer may find a way to proove the account was recovered and the seller would be banned, but he never scammed.

If someone scammed multiple times, for a decent amount of money / accounts, then no they shouldn't be unbanned. Obviously that person WILL make another account, build a little rep, and Scam some more. Your never going to stop scammers, but some people REALLY just need a second chance.

I'm pretty sure you are too!!!!

Anyway, I don't believe they should be given a second chance because most of them give their selves second chances all the time just by making another account -.-...

Personally, I believe if a staff member was to give a 'scammer' another chance, then it must be for a good reason. However, if it was my call then no scammer would ever be unbanned. A scammer should have to create another account if they wish to participate in this community.

it would not make anysense to let a scammer have a second chance. how would the person that got scammed the first time feel? and then he would have to wait for the scammer to be caught again, which he could never scam again. and plus it would be hard to keep track of so many scam accounts.

Some people learn their lesson. Some don't. So no, "once a scammer, always a scammer" doesn't pertain to all people. But if you gave all scammers a second chance, the people who don't change will just scam again. How could you sort out the people who learned their lesson and who didn't? If someone has an answer, I'd like to know it. Maybe 5% of scammers won't scam again. I'd like to give those people a second chance, but that just isn't possible, unfortunately.

I think people who scam but pay back the victim + get a approval from the victim to join sythe again, should be aloud back with a twc. Chances are they will ban evade and get off free without a twc.

If they admit to doing it in the past, I say a TWC not a ban. If they scam and repay what they took in the same day then no ban and TWC. If they scam and don't repay no chance at all to come back.

They should be given a second chance if they are willing to pay everyone back.

I agree with the TWC, however I don't think it should be removed so easily. I think you should earn the trust back in time and not in a manner of 10 free successful MM's. TWC is very effective and some may think it's over effective seeing as how people listed with TWC rarely get traded with.
