Can't decide, need some help!

I'm contemplating on getting 40 defence and being a 40 def mage+range tank. I HATE melee ( as you can tell)
Would this be a good idea?
anybody know the pros and cons?
What do you suggest?

Should i do DT? I'm also very lazy and hate quests so i thought 40 def range+mage would be good. make the least amount of quests too do.

 

if you're going to be a range tank with 40def, get vengence.

 

Ive never made, or pked on a range tank before. Are they any good? Ive had trillions of 1def pures. But never a tank.

 

Keep it 1 defence until you're way better.
Way better being like 90+ Range. And even when you're 90+ Range, I give 1 Def pures more respect.

 

I was thinking about getting 40 def at 75.
Ive had way too many 1 def pures. They start too bore me after a while.

 

40 def, then eventually get 75, then eventually get 99 i'd say. and you would need vengeance. DT wouldn't do much unless your planning to range people in void armour.

What about a 20 def pure? I heard they are good too!

 

I'd say if you're trying to keep your combat low then to stay at 1 def, and ideally get 99 range and atleast high enough mage for venge or blitz. If you get higher stats but leave def at 1 and decide you don't like it, you can always gain levels, but if you go to 40 first, you can never go back down.

I honestly don't care about my combat level. As long as i can pk.
I heard that around the combat that i would have 80 range+mage and 40 def i would mostly be fighting lvl 80ish main accounts.
