New Runescape account

Im thinking about playing runescape again if someone could give me some tips on good stats that would make a good account. i havent played in forever and whats a god place to train for non members.

 

Well, combat stats are always good.

Since you've been gone, you probably haven't noticed the release of the new prayers.

The new prayers (turmoil, soul split) are excellent during pking and overall fighting monsters!

But it is very costly to get these prayer levels, so do it with caution.

Well, combat stats like the guy above says are allways good. Pures have become very popular now a days, but tanks are starting to pick up. Yo could become a ranged/2h, which are pretty good, but i would start off with stat like 40atk 50str 50range and optional 13, 31, or 44 prayer. Good places to train would be chickens 1-20, cows 20-35, alkharid warriors 35-50. Good luck and have fun!!!

well, just start training combat skills. get into slayer right away too. if you do combat and slay, you will make alot of money

 

Fishing is always useful if you are running out of cash. The best way to fish is 1-20 shrimps/sardines 20-68 barbian village trout and salmon, and then 68-76+ depending on how much you want to train.

 

farming is a very big money maker also wc makes alot of money depending on what you cut. then you could get a few easy 99s with that money including cooking and fm. GOOD LUCK!

My suggestion would be to sample all the skills after you've got perhaps some kind of combat lvl. The use of sampling skills is so that you can find a skill you like to train. There are skills that take money and skills that make money. According to your preference of what skill you enjoy you can act accordingly with making money with the skill you like or making money for the skill you like. I find people just train stuff to train it and then say they don't like RS. But they don't do what they see as fun on RS. Training seems faster if you like the skill.

 

you should probably start off making a pure to get combat skills up quickly, then do what you want from there get def or do non combat skills
