No support. If you want to be paid to antiscam someone, then you're doing it for the wrong reasons. I appreciate the amount of antiscams you have been apart of and understand your reasons but getting paid for it seems wrong to me. I cannot support that.

 

The reason I came up with this suggestion was because of a scenario I just encountered where I have an approved anti however the payment method is not BTC so for me to accept xx payment method and convert to BTC
I would be taking a loss in %
For this scenario I presented a suggest to swap it but for a % rate which was declined via the mod team

like the scenario i encountered the victims now get $0 instead of a small fee for swapping the CA > Btc

again i've never had an issue doing stuff for free, but there should maybe be some rules that can be bent a little so we can justify paying more victims by taking that small %

You have had plenty of shit in the dispute section against you (no I'm not saying it to cause drama) including what could of actually been scamming itself so this is seemingly ironic.

I get that people spend their time doing it, but you are also doing it for the community essentially giving the people who get affected by such some moral high ground, not to profit from their victims.

anti-scamming is to give the victim some sense of “victory” and should be done for moral reasons not for profit that’s so backwards….

Don't think its the best business practice, but interesting suggestion. Wonder if there's an alt method in a more conventional way to counter the problem

 

If this is does get approved then we should add a new "bounty hunter" rank.

Jokes aside, law enforcement agency workers don't get paid anything extra for being involved in a sting or bait operation to bust a scammer or criminal, they are doing it because it the right thing to do and make the community (or whatever entity it is) a better place.

If you get some money out of it as a goodwill gesture from the victim then great but I wouldn't go as far as making it official / some sort of required payment. That being said if someone wants to seek out someone's "anti-scam services" and voluntarily pay them money (or a %) if they are successful in anti-scamming then that's fine, it just needs to be between the two people.

 

The consensus is for scam victims to have 0 potential in receiving funds because sythe.org only accepts Bitcoin
