what was the best year of Runescape?

07 was the best and worst -
I was more active and actually did stuff..e.g. PKing.
Was the worst because of trade limit.

 

Definetley end of 06 to 07. Once the PVP update was set in place the game started going down.

 

I fucking hate drop ratio.

 

06-07. Best pking\staking

 

2007 way way better then 2006!

my best year was around 06-07 and a lil bit of 08. Things started going down hill in late 08-09 and quit in 2010 lol

Well like most of the people, I'm saying it was 06-07 since I enjoyed it the most at that time. I had lots of fun pking and lots of fun training, I could share my items with everybody and even though I was scammed several times then I couldn't just be more happy at the time. It was just a perfect game. At 2008 end they came out with their new politics and it started to suck. I miss those times though.. Now it's just not the same game. There's no free market and everyone can totally affect the economy, just make a merchant clan. I just can't understand why Jagex hates RWT so much. They're also selling game-related stuff (membership) and they can do that while they're hating all RWT's? Bah, what a nonsense. RWT will always be and will never perish. It's just the same in the real world. What can you do there? Nothing. Then why try to be a god in the game which relates to the real life?

 

If jagex really wanted to make some money, they would bring back the old runescape.

 

Yeah jagex needs to realize that rwt will always exist no matter how many updates they put out. And yeah if they wanted to really make money they would bring it back.

 

2003/2004 were the best years, imo.

 

2005 selling charcoal for 2m a piece in falador garden = priceless

using the noted guthans platebody to noted studded top scam = priceless

pking and getting an actual whip as a drop = awesome

12 December 2007 = horrible

i know noted items same was the easiest. scammed over 75m that way probablly no joke.
