D Claws or AGS?

Okay, so I was thinking this may be better for the Mini-games/Pking section but it doesn't directly relate to pking so I'm not sure, but anyways...

Right now I'm using SoulWars to make a Pure and I was wondering if I should make him 60/99/1 or 75/99/1 for using d claws or ags respectively. If you guys could answer which weapon is better (the special attack especially) that would be great!

I'd recommend staying at 60 with a decent mage level to blitz. You'll be a lower cb level, and rushing is one of the funnest things to do in PvP. Also, I'd have to say dclaws spec > ags.

 

I agree with M I K E, Dragon Claws in a +1 world would make you rich, the problem is that it's also way too typical to come across.

if you wanna just be a dumb kid who hits people and runs (rusher) go with the 60 attack and claws.

AGS is good for real fighting (like range and 2h) but terrible anymore for rushing.

All claws has is the spec. AGS has spec and normal attacks. AGS > Claws.

Here is my way to think about it, when pking, u should u this tactic, if your gonna fight pures, use clawz, if ur gonna fight zerkers or mains, AGS all the way.

 

Claws smash one defs, but not zerkers or mains, unless sky high 80+ attack, AGS doesnt discriminate, it hits everything

Meele doesn't get you everywhere, especially in PvP worlds. It's best to get 94 mage and 80+ range so you can hybrid at will, switch out your pk style's, or even add a bit of spice to the D Claw/AGS spec.

IMO I think you should get 75/99/1. You'll probably be 78-82 CB and at that level there's amass amount of noob zerkers that are new with low str. The zerker's would hit on you but your AGS would rip through them. I remember when my zerk was 80cb. I fought a 70/99/1 with 99 range. I was completely vulnerable to any attack he sent my way. I pretty much got masqueraded, the range hit right through my 45 def and the AGS spec finished me off.

 

Personally I'd say claws. Whip + Rune defender then claws for spec. And because claws is only like 30mil if it crashes you won't lose as much as if ags crashes.

 

Stay 60 attack. Claws rip through pures a lot better than an ags will and they are a lot cheaper. If you get over 45 def or have a higher cb level i would suggest an ags.

 

It really depends on What your using it for,What minigame?Go into detail,I Like dclaws better tho.

 

Mainly 1v1 Duel arena and Bounty Worlds, I'll be mainly fighting pures at my combat level. But from what I've heard, it seems like claws wreck other pures but fail against people with higher def, while the ags just wrecks all def levels, but costs a lot more.

I think AGS hits better overall, So I'd say AGS.
