M I K E scammed me!

So I was going to sell my green dragon mask for paypal and I wanted to use a MM so the buyer ([email protected]) added M I K E, M I K E PMed us and then I gave him the mask in game he logged of MSN along with the buyer so I think the buyer is his friend.

So if I see correctly:



All 3 masks are worth much more than 17M. If you actually sold the mask to him in trade and took a screenshot immediately after, you'd have closer to 80M (or whatever the mask price is today) or that GP and some junk. The only conclusion I can make here is that the proof is fake.

 

No, it is a new item on runescape. I sold a green dragon mask wich is ~16m.

Im starting to think that it might have been an imposter but I duno :S The thing is that he PMed me here on sythe comfirming that we were talking on MSN as seen on the last screenshot.

 

Right, but that doesn't confirm that was him. A fairly well-known impostor technique is to pose as the seller/buyer and have the real MM PM the person you want to scam, making it appear as if the real person PMing you is the guy on MSN. The guy talking to the user that PMed you then backs out.
