Summary of entire thing:
Switch the two sections and have Guide Sales has the child-forum and Verified Guide Sales the sub-forum.


People constantly visit this sub-forum in order to buy guides. Thing is, none of the guides in that section are verified. If they are, they're waiting to be moved.
Well, someone might say "people just need to look in the Verified Sales section."


Well, the Verified Guide Sales isn't very active. The cause of this, people not realizing it's there/not bothering to look. As well, when people are buying a verified guide; it's highly unlikely for them to get scammed.

My suggestion: Make Verified Guide Sales the sub-forum and have Guide Sales as the child-forum within. This would bring more trafic through the Verified Guide Sales. Helping people boost their sales. (I constantly have people ask to make sure their guide after being verified isn't moved to Verified Guide Sales. It's obvious they ask that, because no one goes into that section.)

Pros:
Lower scam ratio
More guides will be verified, this helping catch people who plagiarize guides etc.
Lower fake guides since the Guide Sales won't get much attention as before

I support this I think it's a great suggestion for anyone who sells guides or would like to buy one.

i support, i have a verified guide and i get like NO sales because people dont see the child forum... its difficult

 

I support this mainly because it brings the verified guides out to the front so it is one of the first pages you see in the guide section.

 

Yeah, A verified guide section would be good, Because you know it would be verified and legit.

 

Agreed, and add "unverified guides" to the appropriate section, along with a sticky that explains that just because they aren't verified doesn't mean they don't work, but to take care when purchasing.
