I have the same problem, how do you make it the same color of sythe?

I pasted the background of sythe in paint and put it behind my sphere, and it looks kinda rough.

    Is there a better way?

Are you merging all layers when compiling etc?
    Tried .PNG extension?
Mine works fine. I fixed I Could Go Pro's avatar just then..

When saving the image, the only way to retain the transparency of the background is to save it as a .PNG file - do not save it as a .jpeg, as this is the reason you are getting the unwanted background colour.
