Mining - Combat Runaway loop in LRC

I have this problem. I am mining, then I get attacked by a Living Rock Protector.

kMiner defaults to bank location, (combat runaway), then after 5 seconds goes back to the mining spot. However, the NPC is still waiting for me, so the loop goes on. I don't attack, so over a period of half an hour it gradually kills me.

Any fix?

 

Well i dont know of any fix or out but kminer will run str8 back to LRC and keep mining for u doesnt really bother me just take a pickaxe down and u will be fine

This never happened to me. When the bot runs back to the bank, the Living Rock protector usually goes for another target and leaves you. Are you in world 84? The rock protector should eventually forget you and move onto someone else.

 

I am in 84. The problem is that the bot doesn't wait long enough at the bank/safespot for the NPC to forget me. It just waits, and attacks me.

It also doesn't happen everytime - only about one in every 3 times, the other times the Living Rock protector just goes for someone else.
