RWT Problem

Isn't it kind of stupid how Jagex removes so many fun things in order to remove RWT, yet no matter what there is always a way to RWT? I mean you would expect the RS Blackmarket forums to be slightly quieter, but the RWTers moved on like nothing happened. (I do like the PVP worlds though.)

 

Yep But people Will always Find Ways around things Its called Being Resourceful.

 

As long as the g.e. exists, rwt will persist. The 5% difference allows for a lot of transferring

They are trying to reduce it.

Making it harder for it to xfer.

 

Jagex basically updated RWTing today. The new TT items are hot so more people will be paying big bucks for them.

True. It really pisses me off that they did it still.

No other game has trade limit, like wtf.

 

They definitely crippled it a bit, but as long as there are new updates and new content then there will be new ways to xfer.

 

they're dumb, getting rid of rwt just got alot more bots into runescape.

people decided to bot instead of work for the money, since they couldnt rwt it anymore.. etc.etc. thats my opinion. I think if they never got rid of trade limit and wild there would be alot less bots out there now.

 

I believe that jagex is the only developer that really cares about RWT. Rs RWT is a massive industry whether jagex likes it or not and there is virtually nothing they can do without killing the game to stop it

 

I remember when it was so easy to buy gold.
You just met them and traded them.
It was so damn simple.... The trade limit did nothing though really.
Except make people quit.

 

I wish it was still that simple... So easy, no wait or hassle. Feels like a dream now.

 

The RWT update comprised account security massively too. People give usernames + passes to the suppliers now instead of just trading, which could have lead to more RWTing - Selling stolen accounts.

 

The way I look at it, the harder RWT becomes the more enticing it becomes to others (the forbidden fruit always tastes the sweetest, etc). So, what happens is when jagex cuts off one method of RWT, many more appear. Really, the only way to stop it would be to eliminate trading as well as PvP, which they won't do

 

They did a good job, its a much bigger hassle and I think it definitely turned some people off. They know its a fight they can't win though

 

agree, JaGeX should keep there damn nosey ass busy bodys out of peoples business, free world, ppl can spend theyre money on what they fucking please, am i right?!? what are the new TT items?
