    Subforum Display on Forum Index?

Just thinking, Powerbot has it (inb4 WE'RE NOT POWERBOT OMG), and it makes the forum a bit more navigable than Sythe at the moment.

EDIT: I'm not talking about full forum depth display, just talking about one level down.

    Subforum Display on Forum Index?

I support. It's used on most forums and makes browsing easier.

Maybe there is an option that you can allow users to specify if they want sub forums displayed, that way by default this option can be turned off (would keep the forum looking sleek and clean to new guests).

    Subforum Display on Forum Index?

To be honest, it would make the page at least double its length now, and atm it already is pretty long, Subsections on the index IMO look untidy. and defeat the object of them being subsections, as them being displayed on the index just show that they're sections but under the same rules/topic as the Section they're children for.

I just find it makes the website look untidy and unprofessional, although that's just my opinion.

    Subforum Display on Forum Index?

We do have the forum jump navigation. The main page already has a million forums on it so I don't think an extra click or 2 is all that bad.

    Subforum Display on Forum Index?

Just a note here, I'm not talking about displaying sub-forums within sub-forums (within sub-forums, if they exist). Just on the front page. When someone says "go to the Meet The Staff section", they have to find it themselves. It's not listed on the front page.

If done right, it doesn't clutter the Forum Index at all, really.
