Feeling Down

For me, life has been really depressing. I havn't seen my girlfriend in 3 weeks, I am having trouble keeping up with my drumline excersizes and I just can never find a way to just relax and think about the day. I am always tense and I can never get over my mistake often times ending in punching walls, throwing sticks or falling down. Poetry has always interested me so I am going to write one and post it here. Flame is not appreciated.

Life's Meaning

Deception, Lies, Cruelty, Malice
Control Our Every Limb

As we walk
As we talk
As we write
As we hear
As we ride
The long rode of life

The road can be perilous
If your sense of direction is ubscured
by
Deception, Lies, Cruelty, Malice

We Live
We Cry
Then
We Die

It is a cycle of life
It cannot be undone

Its a mystery
of how it came to be

One can only speculate
At how we are today

After looking at my gf's profile, 11/15 are from a guy named mark. idk its just I get wicked jealous.

I'm sorry that you are feeling down, everyone has this happen to them some point in their life. Perhaps a vacation to somewhere you enjoy would be a good way to refresh your mind and just get away from all the negative things around you. Perhaps you could even invite your girlfriend to come with you, so it's just the 2 of you. Hopefully you start to feel better again soon, nobody deserves to be depressed. Also, I like your poem. :]
