Then agian there has been high vouched people banned for $40.00. So honestly. I feel nothing makes you ''trusted''. There will always be a chance to be scammed on everytrade. In reality we just have to put it how it is.

Either comes down to the decision of giving trust or not giving trust. Simple as that. The way they act can determine more of someones gaining of my trust than vouchs.

i agree with most opinions on here post count should not be a verry big deal. I also think that vouches are the best pieces of info that you can use to prove trustworthiness. I needa start listing mine lol i had like 14 but i never posted them cuz i was too lazy :(.

As stated before, the value of a high post count depends on really the member at hand. Some people deem high post count trustworthy, some not so much. I personally like a steady balance of posts/join date/vouches.

I say the date you joined should come first before your post count in most situations. then mabye forum reputation/vouches? then last should be post count.

I compare the vouches with the risk im taking, then decide from their. I also do a scan for any reports of scamming. But post count isnt huge unless its below, say, 40... you probably dont have all that many vouches then :p

Totally agree Neo. There isn't really much that can be done about it though, I've been here for 2 years and am fairly active. Definitely more of a lurker.

Post count doesn't mean shit, any idiot can sit and spam topics all day.
I look at join date and vouches, and I actually check the vouches too.

Join date shows me that they've been in the community a long time, and obviously if you're a scammer you don't last long here.

    Vouches are nuff said.

    Oh and..*Looks at join date*
    Yeah.

    Post actually do mean something.

Lets say person A has 10 vouches for 10 dollars worth of trades and a join date of august 2010 with 50 post.

And person B has 10 vouches for 10 dollars worth of trades a join date of august 2010 and 300 post.

Its almost automatic your gonna trust the person with 300 post.

If you have alot of post that means your active on sythe.org

The majority of scammers are idiots. They think you will go first with them because they claim to br trusted on another cheating site or something. But what I have seen several times, they raise their post counts to around 2000-5000 and get anywhere from 1-50 or so vouches and seem to be pretty trusted. Then when you think you know them well enough to go first in a big trade with them, they scam you $400.

I mean think about it, wouldn't it be more worth it to spend several months on sythe raising your post count and trust level, and getting several hundred dollars out of a trade rather than staying a week and getting $10? It wouldn't be worth it IMO.*

I think a donator rank tricks people into thinking your more trustworthy than you actually (and that's not why I donated) as does your postcount.

Why should join date mean anything? And why should it be a bigger factor than vouches? Enlighten me please.

Vouches are clearly important when it comes to trust. The fact that you've already gone through trades without any issue of you scamming is great. However, vouches for training someone to 15 mining are useless, and shouldn't even be considered vouches in my opinion.

Join date is slightly important, depending on your activities here. If you're 2+ years old, and are clearly active in the Black Market section, there's a good chance you're pretty trustworthy, because you've lasted 2+ years doing trades and not scamming. However, if you've been here 4 years but spend your whole time in the botting section, there's not that same guarantee.

Post count isn't very important, at all. It COULD be considered as your role in the forums, you've maybe made a lot of posts buying accounts, and re-selling, or buying gold and reselling, or anything of that sort, and be super-trustworthy. However, you could also post random things like "inb4lock" or "1st" and still get post count up, but still scam people.

It's all situational. Vouches are the best, because if you've spent years here doing trades, or gotten 500+ post count on black market forums buying/selling stuff, you definitely have some vouches.

I have the lowest post count here! :p

I've lurked these forums quite long, time to get posting a bit. I guess I'll have to use OMM's in the beginning, or else it might be tough.

A person with 1 post count might be more likely to scam, a person with 9000 post count however could scam you aswell.

If you ask me, i dont trust low post count people with links or downloads.

Post count doesnt mean shit when your trading.

im new so I don't have a high post count. I'm new so you can't trust me. So post count does count a little towards trust.
