RRRD / Skatford - need help dealing with a situation

Did @Johe sell you the account/gold? also did you even check if the gold was on account before giving it to the buyer?

 

I discussed this with the staff team.

There are a few issues here that are quite concerning, to say the least:

1. We cannot prove whether the gold was present on the account, and the buyer never verified its existence.
   
   
2. Generally, we do not involve ourselves in these high-risk trading methods, as stated in the section rules below:

3. In this case, the seller, @RRRD, did not inform the buyer that the account was outsourced, nor did they disclose that the account would be reclaimed after a certain period of time. This significantly increased the trade's risk, which violates the RSPS rules on its own:

4. We cannot ascertain who actually took the gold from the account. This is precisely why we do not involve ourselves in these high-risk trading methods.

Before I give the final verdict, I would like to remind @Spartacus that he had intentions of reselling the account's gold without even knowing its origins. This means that the risk could have been passed on to another victim.

Due to point 2, we cannot intervene, as we have clearly stated in our guidelines that we will not involve ourselves in such transactions. This precedent has been established in previous cases as well. Furthermore, even if we did not have this precedent in place, we would not be able to prove if @Spartacus had already sold the gold prior to this, considering the three-day timeframe. We cannot even prove if the gold was present on the account. This is precisely why we do not engage in these high-risk methods. Therefore, we cannot hold @RRRD responsible for the transaction, as the buyer should have read the section rules before engaging in the transaction.

As I mentioned earlier, we do have previous precedents, which brings us back to point three which was previously mentioned, @RRRD has displayed questionable trade practices here and will be given a TWC rank for not informing the buyer about the outsourcing of gold, and the origins of the account. @RRRD you may dispute this in 30 days.
