My opinion on Jagex banning bots.

Now as we all know jagex is giving out temporary bans for botting compared to a few years ago when it use to be perm.

The thing is, we all know jagex is doing this for the money, most botters are p2p which means they get money. Now, I've been botting for 50+ days straight 24/7. I never turn off my bot and I rarely stop it aside from changing weapons etc to gain levels quicker.

In those 50 days I haven't received a ban, yet I'm 24/7ing my account. If you add up those hours thats a lot of time botting.... In my personal opinion most botters usually only get one single month on their accounts and try to bot it up during that time. I didn't do that. I bought 1 month and then another 3 months and have botted since with no ban.

So by my assumptions, I think Jagex goes even easier on people who actually have more member credit. In total I had around 90 days or more I believe I don't remember now and now I'm down to 20 odd. So If I'm correct more member credit = less chance of a ban. I botted 99 strength 24/7 for a couple weeks, and now I have received 99 in thieving as well, and botted around 100 mill cash.

In my personal opinion more member credit = even less chance of being banned for macroing.

I wouldn't disagree with you one bit.

I've had accounts been banned for botting the day the membership ran out. I don't think it's a coincidence.

I agree, exact reason why I always keep my member topped up, but in saying that I have had a temp ban, but that was from auto clicking.

Sorry not gonna agree on this one. You've already payed them, they could care less about your member credit. You don't pay them after you have used the credit, you pay them before.

My opinion on Jagex banning bots.

Like I said in my original post, I bought a one month and I decided to add on another 3 months after that. They're probably expecting me to once again update my credit as I do it every 3 months when I have around 10-15 remaining. I have been a long-long term member now for a while, maybe that contributes to it, cause they're constantly knowing I'm going to send them in cash.

Not only that but come on, 50+ days of autoing and maybe 1-2 quests done within that time legit. I think Jagex, myself and anyone else who's seen me on constantly knows I bot.

I've had multiple people come up to me and say "hey didn't i see you in soul wars before" "yeah you were online for 3 days lol, nerd, reported".

That's happened at least 6 times to me now, all within the 50 days of botting. Jagex knows I bot and they don't ban me. That's HUNDREDS of hours on constantly, never offline...

I highly doubt you've been botting 50 days straight without turning the bot off. The script writers update the bot every Rs update.

Well I'm obviously NOT counting off time for updates, script updates ETC. Sometimes I do indeed look and the bot is offline and I reset the client to update. That's extremely obvious. Runescape updates a lot, we all know this...

Also I'm using multiple different bots so I fluctuate between them all. I used soul wars for 72-90 strength, and then autofighter pro to 99. Then autosorc pro for 99 thieving as well as cash etc. So those are the only times the bots are off when I switch them or buy something on the G.E.

    Proof of said skills etc.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the member credit has something to do with it as well.

Recently I suicided an account at Ivy just because but the day after I achieved 99 Wc with about a week and a half of member left it got banned. I'll try a 3 month credit with a different botter and see how it goes.

I'm going to further test out my theory by not updating my credit this month. I've got exactly 30 days of membership credit remaining (excuse the original post where it says I have 20, I don't even use the account enough to notice the correct amount).

I'll update this thread when the membership is up. I'm botting firemaking to 99 now and then attack to 99, lets see if I can get it done before the 30 days are up...

I agree, but I like to play the devils advocate so im going to share my story. I just bought a 3 month card from wal-mart, put it on my guy and botted 99 fm in like a week and a half on maples. 2 days later he was banned. Not sure where my leeway went. I get unbanned with like 60 sum odd days left of credit, then start botting fishing. I was banned 2 days after I started botting the account again. I know the second one is kinda irrelevant but the first one isnt.

this is leaning to a mass ban like back in 2004.. there's no way they're gonna let people just bot and be cool with it

EDIT: Tbh I really think that there is gonna be a mass ban soon , i think Jagex is stalling. Maybe they mark with you term ban into mass ban comes. Watch out people, bot safe.

Which bots were you using? Obviously freebots have a better chance of being banned, I use autosoulwars pro, autofighter pro, autosorcpro, amoung others all from rsbot.net.

I am now using arbifire which is the best fm script out considering all the other ones don't work that well, but it is indeed a FREE script and I have failed several randoms with it so far....I always finished the randoms on my pro scripts...
