Hell of a lot of bans

There are tones of bans on these forums
I check back on threads that I have posted in and half the people that have posted have been banned. This is a good thing that try are getting banned but it's still shocking how many people actually brake (is it break or brake?) the rules..

Unfortunately scamming, the main contributer to these bans (alongside ban evading) is a regular thing on Sythe. I'd love to see this decrease, however there will always be people who think they can make a quick buck by stealing someone else's property. The best thing we can do is try to ensure that with every trade precautions, whether they be using an OMM/MM or investigating the person you're about to trade with.

I'd rather see them banned than let loose. They broke the rules and must suffer the consequences of their actions.

I do find it shocking too. It kind of makes people hard to trust.

Remember that many of these are the same people. Some people come back many times. Last time I checked, only 9,5% of Sythe's registered members were banned. Many of these "members" are spambots too.

Most of the banned members are either scamming or ban evading. In these cases there's clear guidelines when to ban and when not.

It kinda makes you think twice about selling things on sythe tbh, I just end up selling to people that are trusted and i know will resell and make a few bucks off me.. little chance of getting scammed and having them charge back on you..

just use a middleman And that way you wont get scammed and most are ban evaders that come back.

Yeh. But 90% of the time someone needs to be scammed, before they can ban someone. So it isn't that good >.>'

Fyi, you can still get banned using a MM/OMM, but using one reduces the risk of getting scammed.
