Could the rules please be updated

Well first off, owning a botnet or any kind of DDoS tools is against the rules apparently, but not on the rules list.

Syed and Tmoe were recently banned for 'trolling.' I understand Syed was on probation which prohibited him from trolling, but why Tmoe? Trolling is not listed on the rules page.

You're no longer allowed to dispute infractions, not even in the dispute forum. That could use a quick edit.

If there's rules that could possibly apply to a lot of members, why are they not being put on the official rules page, instead of the staff just quoting "Staff reserve the right to ban or infract for any unconscionable act. The above rules and associated punishments only apply when the staff can reasonably judge that a user does not deserve some other, perhaps more severe form of punishment for any unconscionable act they might make on the forums." which seems a little unfair. If it's happening on a regular basis, and is against the rules, shouldn't it be on the rules list?

I'm not trying to attack anyone or am saying the staff are doing a bad job, because they're not. I just want some clarification as to why so many people can get infracted/banned for something not even on the rules.

 

If my intel reports are correct, there are other issues at hand in Tmoe's case.

 

Tmoe's case is rare and the reason for his temp ban is a different issue altogether.
