F2P Skill Capes?

Dont ya think you should get something for getting the 99 like even if the cape could only be unrtimmed and not allow emotes?

Like getting a 99 in most skills in F2P is more of a achivement than getting one in P2P dont ya think?

Yes, they are Members. Jagex hasn't made any comments on changing this any time soon either.


I doubt they'll make them F2P either way. It's just another incentive to buy members. Not counting, the game is more suckish then usual in F2P.

Buy skillcape and put it on
Wait for members to expire

Heaven, I'll use an example. You just got 99 mining. And you turned f2p wearing the cape. You then get 99 fm in F2P. Does the cape trim, or does it stay untrimmed?

Im sure I heard in some newsletter they may be releasing it in F2P.

 

Yeah they should make a f2p version of skillcapes, just less features.

 

You can still use the emote in f2p if you still have a cape on.

F2P skill capes? They do deserve some, however, to get certain skill capes you must be able to go onto the members side, e.g firemaking is south of seers and range is the range guild.

 

They just want to make more money because they know that if you do happen to get a 99 skill without a cape it kinda sucks. However if you happen to buy membership you can unlock all the fun of having a skillcape. They just want to make money thats basically it.

 

I guess they could let f2p use the capes that f2p's can train.

 

i dont think jagex would make skill capes f2p its a member feature that they use to make some money off of and it makes people want to be a member once they get a 99 in f2p just for the cape
