I think should sythe should have their own APP

Sometimes when im on the go i get bored and go to safari on my iphone and try to load up sythe, it loads but it is extemely hard to get into the threads and what not.

What if sythe had some devolopers from the site or not devolop an app to access the forum on the go.

It will bring in more traffic daily because of the app being on the app store for free

its just something to lookat

 

I don't even think this would be an option without Sythe paying out of his pocket tons and tons of money, for something that would probably barely be used anyways.

I find it extremely easy to go on Sythe on my iPhone. Although a Sythe application would be great.

 

A Sythe application would be a application that when you open it, it'll open your Safari browser and heads to http://sythe.org/

I do not think it is needed.

 

i have an iphone 3g and its a pain in the ass for me tbh and it wouldnt need to cost much. theres some pretty smart people on this forum who'd probly be happy to do it for free

 

Even with the mobile theme it is quite annoying, I think a Sythe application would be great.

There could be a small navigation bar at the bottom, with the following buttons:
Back
Forward
Link to your profile
Logout

Or something along those lines.

You could also filter out sections so they are hidden, to reduce the clutter on the screen, considering iPhones/iPod touches are only ~4 inches tall.

This would be great, along with a good size text and easy to click links into the different forums of sythe.

 

It'd be expensive to maintain and difficult to code.

 

It's not that difficult to code. Plus with a few donations you could get it on iTunes.

 

yes it does have ups and down, im completely clueless on how to devolop it and what not. just a few ideas that should be added. but there must be some people who do stuff like this for cheap

 

Well I'd love to see a Sythe for Iphone and Android app.....and if moneys conserned, I just gave Sythe a bunch and know there are others. Maybe thats where our donations should go if we wanted it.

 

I just tried accessing Sythe on a 3GS and it looks fine. Not sure what you're whinging about.

 

Using my HTC Hero, my biggest thing is pressing on a wrong thread amd when I retply it sometimes messes up and sends random stuff. Hence my last infraction.

As long as there's an avaliable internet connection, my iPhone 3G shows sythe absolutely fine. It's also easy for me to use.

 

A sythe app would be great but i'm not sure if anyone has the money to do that with.

 

before people post saying you dont have the money for that... google how much it costs to create an app.
A simple app that just brings the site up with edited sizes and maybe a back button or what not can be made my a 13 year old kid.
(not saying i know how to)
but it would be pretty simple

 

I find it easy to go onto sythe with my itouch. Just when you go on change the theme to mobile so its easier to use.
